I paid about $5 for this, and that's about all it's worth IMO. The silicone on this bucket is rather thin, doesn't hold its' shape well, and the seams along the folds are more likely to crack over time. This also makes it difficult to fold flat - you can't just push it down in one motion as you can with other collapsible products of higher quality - you have to manually adjust and position each layer as you fold it back down to get it to lay flat. I bought this for 'very' occasional use for when I'm hand-washing clothing, dyeing fabric, or washing the car - so this will work fine for my needs since I won't use it much and needed a large bucket, but if you plan on using this bucket often, you might want to get something of higher quality/thicker silicone.

I bought this bucket to use for ice when we went to Jamaica. It folded flat in my suitcase so it was perfect. I used it the whole 2 weeks we were there but when we went home I'd filled over filled my suitcase with all the gifts we'd bought while there and since it wasn't expensive I decided to give it away to the housekeeper who was pretty impressed with it. Once popped up its a bit challenging to fold back at first but I quickly figured it out. It's no problem once you get the hang of it. I'll definitely buy another for our next vacation!

great idea but collapses only halfway for storage

I liked the idea, as I have a collapsible dish drainer and one for washing dishes in my sink, and they perform perfectly opening and collapsing. This bucket works fine in open position, however is doesn't collapse back to original form completely, thus doesn't fit in as small of a space as you would like it to. I will keep it, and use it, but just a bit disappointed in the way it folds back down, only half way.

does not collapse. had to manually collapse one ring at a time. Nice idea if it worked. returning. somehow it just does not seem right that I have to pay for original shipping when product is defective.

For a $10 beach bucket, i expected it to last more the 8 months. The silicone folds cracked at the bends,and it completely deteriorated at the lip joint.

Awesome bucket! Love the space saving design. I use this for water changes in my fish tank but can be used for anything and easily folded and hidden away till next use.

This works well as a bucket and is larger than I expected. It a bit of a pain to fold up - but I would still recommend. Took one star off because of the time you have to spend to get it to collapse correctly.

It is very nice. Sturdy and holds lots, with nice poor spout. I do wish it collapsed easier. It takes a bit of convincing to get it into a collapsible position. I also really like the place to hang it from.

I bought 3 of these because I have other collapsing bowls. I love them expect for one issue. They don't collapse well. I think the colored part is too soft so you have to play with it to collapse properly. Other than that they work great for cleaning .

Once you uncollapse the pail It won't collapse back, the whole point of buying this product was that it would save storage room!!!
