Flawed

The size is perfect. The aesthetics are perfect. The design not so much. The loop that connect to your key ring is what turns the light on by twisting until the battery makes a complete curcuit. So after one day of the light accidentally being turned on while in my pocket, the light died. If you twist it too much in one direction, it'll screw if and the battery falls out, too much the other and the light can easily be shuffled into turning on. I wanted this to work. It at $30 I couldn't justify buying this light.

Bright beam worked first time & every time. I like the size. Its now my every day carry. Like a good pocket knife, perfect tool. The first on I received had a loose connection TEC replaced it great service

The light is intermittently activated in the off position when ever you pick up the microlight or move around with it (e.g. in your pocket) this results in the batteries running down very quickly

Bought from an authorized Tec seller on Ebay for a little cheaper and still overpaid...lol! It looks beautiful, five stars, but as a light, it's mediocre -- was impressed by the design, but in terms of function, it fails spectacularly. Doesn't turn on when it's supposed to despite how much you twist the thing, but hey, it looks great on a keychain. The twist motion is not smooth at all either, very squeaky. I was trying to find a keychain light that looked and performed better than the Pico Light that I was using. Well, I now have a new-found respect for the $6.00 Pico Lite -- It's brighter than this Pixel Micro, which I think has a higher lumin? rating. The Pico also has smoother on/off turning mechanism. Needless to say, the fantastic Pico is back on my keychain and this Pixel Microlight sits in my kitchen drawer looking pretty. Save your money. I'm a TEC fan, btw. Have the Pico Pen and the little fob where you stick a glow thing in (great products) so it's not like I'm trying to be douchy.

Bought 2 Straight from the Tec website.

Excellent, definitely the smallest flashlight I've had. Very bright, looks nice. Only problem is battery isn't too big, but to be sure, this isn't something you'd use for long periods usually.

This flashlight would be great for working in hard to reach places, BUT! The battery life makes it a bad choice for that. After 5 minutes or so, it starts to dim at a more noticeable pace. It's a bit sad, because it is easy to place and very bright, which made it great for working inside computer cases and furniture.

Probably Not Worth Effort

Hate is a strong word and I hate that I spent SO MUCH on a light which doesn't work. Replacing the batteries didn't even cut it. Tiny watch batteries...4....and only a day more. What loose piece of what held the insides together to make contact and work? We'll never know. I've got a nice piece of metal on my keychain, and grief.
(And this site and seller forces me to select a star....)

Great little device, perfect addition to my keyring, but evidently the contact between the battery completing the circuit to the LED is flawed, as it doesn't appear to work all the time. Lots of fiddling required to get the light to work. It used to work more consistently, and it's a great little device when it does work. Wish I could get it fixed.

Sooo tiny! Twist on/off feature is easy and reliable. Haven't had any issues with it coming apart in my pocket or turning on. We will see if it happens in the future. Weighs less than a house key. Great addition to my keys. Cost was more than I'd prefer but is made well/quality materials so hopefully it will hold up for a long time. Overall, a great little light. Picture is compared to a standard debit card/business card for reference

Excellent

This is a great little keychain light. It uses a watch battery size, the LR521 or 379A, that I wasn't as familiar with as the LR44 (alkaline) and SR44 and SR41 (silver oxide) ones I'm used to buying but is still widely available in drugstores. At 25 ohms it's about 50% brighter than the classic AA Minimag for those who are still fond of their incandescent lights as I am. The fit and finish is excellent and the light is almost indestructible. Overall a very cool little light in the tiny watch battery size category.
