Product Description

Used by the world's most elite athletes such as Blake Griffin and Lindsey Vonn, The HYPERSPHERE is a cutting-edge fitness device that uses pressure and vibration to improve the body's overall performance. Keeping the body's soft tissue (muscles. tendons. ligaments, fascia) loose is essential for maintaining flexibility and range of motion. While myofacial therapy balls can help the body stay loose, adding vibration with the intensity and frequency of the HYPERSPHERE takes the experience to another level. The HYPERSPHERE has been used by the world's best athletes to warm up and recover from training and competition, and can be used by anyone who wants to move better. The HYPERSPHERE is an essential tool for localized soft tissue therapy.

The HYPERSPHERE is for fitness enthusiasts, professional athletes, weekend warriors, physical therapists, massage therapists, and anyone with regular soreness. The HYPERSPHERE is the world’s first high intensity vibrating ball.

“As an athlete I am always looking for the best tools and technology to help keep my body healthy. The HYPERSPHERE prepares my body for training and helps my muscles recover after games. It is an essential part of my routine and enables my body to perform at the highest level through the grind of a long season. - Blake Griffin, NBA All-Star

"I'm always looking to challenge and push my body to the next level. The HYPERSPHERE helps me prepare my body so I can train at a high level and helps me recover faster so I can get back at it the next day. Not as useful as cheaper mobility tools
by Alexandra Morris (1 out of 5 stars)
February 7, 2018

I use a lot of mobility tools, foam rollers, lacrosse balls and the mob WOD Gemini and supernova.

I honestly haven't been impressed with this ball.

At its significant cost (more than all the above others combined), I don't find it particularity beneficial.

As a novelty, the vibrating is fine, but to get into large muscles (quads and hams) it isn't as good as a foam roller and chest and shoulders it can't get in as well as a simple $2 lacrosse ball.

Edit-in addition to the frustration that it changed speeds and turns off mid use because of the placement of the button, a screw just came loose and fell out while using it. I've owned the ball for 2 weeks.

No customer service at all

I'm a chiropractor who has directed several patients to purchase this. Excellent product until it malfunctions and then good luck getting customer service on the phone. It's been a month of calling daily to no avail. Buyer beware!

Great for shoulder and neck muscles! Small enough to pack for travel. I don't want to live without i
by Lakewood Colorado Shopper (5 out of 5 stars)
October 27, 2016

I own the large cylindrical Hyperice Vyper and have found it very useful for my legs, but too large and cumbersome for use on upper shoulders and neck. When I saw this item during Amazon's Prime Day sale, I decided to try it. I love it!! I use it 3-4 times a week on my shoulders primarily, and also calves and glutes. Although it is large, the shape allows me to focus on the specific areas of muscle tension to break up the knots, and the vibration is much more effective and less painful than using a lacrosse ball. With regular use on my shoulders, I have reduced the frequency of tension headaches and reduced my shoulder pain considerably.

I like it so much that I took it with me on my last two business trips to Europe to help with the neck and shoulder tightness I get from sitting in uncomfortable airplane seats for 8-10 hours.

Unfortunately, after three months of frequent use, it does not turn on today. I sent an e-mail to the manufacturer through their website, and they responded within an hour. Hyperice promised to repair it and get it back to me within a week so that I will have it in time for my next trip.

I will update this review if I have additional problems, but I recommend it to anybody who needs an effective tool to help loosen tight muscles.

product came damaged
by Djc33 (1 out of 5 stars)
October 29, 2018

I am pretty sure I was sent a used ball, like it had been refurbished. There were some minor scratches on the plastic. The on button looked used with a small scratch on the rubber button. On the opposite side where you plug in the charger, that information sticker was offset and starting to peel. BE WARNED! The ball is two halves put together. It is not one whole piece that they lead you to believe. My two pieces did not come together or line up well. Some areas were to tight some way to loose. The screws were also exposed. The loose areas caused gaps that made the ball not flush with the rest of the ball. I still tried it but only for about 15 seconds. I stopped because it started making this clicking sound. I liked the idea of this ball. I was hesitant to buy because of the price. I just wish it turned out better. I am going to try and exchange for another one before I try and get my money back.

Update... YOU CAN NOT RETURN THIS ITEM!!! This is not disclosed anywhere. Luckily Amazon was able to refund my money. What a waste of time!

Great for recovery after long runs or tough leg workouts.
by Pete W (5 out of 5 stars)

One of my go-to workout recovery tools. Fantastic for getting in on tight muscles below the waist (glutes, hamstrings, quads, calves, feet). You will want to make sure you have a SOLID surface to use this on, basically a concrete foundation. At level 2, this thing shakes our house. Level 3 is almost impossible to control. My wife kind of hates this thing, but I love it. It's also great for travel. I know throw it in my bag when I can't bring a foam roller. Again...make sure you have a solid surface to use it on.

As for back and upper body, I'd go with a foam roller, you are supposed to be able to use this, but again, you're gonna need a super solid wall. As you get closer to the upper back/shoulder/neck region the vibration may be too much for your head. That's why I generally stick to using this for waist down recovery.

Do not purchase

This lasted only a few months. Used about a dozen times. When I contacted the company they did not get back to me at all. On button broke and fell into the ball. No longer functions. $148 is just wrong for poor quality

No more spazzy night legs
by BookWormRose (5 out of 5 stars)
July 4, 2018

I've only have had it for a week but I like it very much. I do not have issues with my hands and though my upper body is weak I can pick up and hold the ball. I've used it on my pecks, every part of my legs, my feet (that's a treat), my T-band by holding and pushing it into my side. I haven't used it on my back but I've seen photos of people doing against the wall. I'd be scared the ball will drop and be damaged. I think I'll give it a try sitting down against my sofa and I can place a pillow below in case it falls. I use a pen with it's cap on to start the button because it's difficult with your finger but that's not a big deal. The battery life is quite good. I haven't had to recharge it yet, and today actually makes one week. I think I'll need to recharge tomorrow. My legs were spazzing out a couple of nights and so I used this on my legs for about 20 min. and it relieved my legs no more spazzing. I have MS and my lower body is very spastic this and a rolling bar helps me tremendously.

Ughhhhhh...

At first, I loved this product. But like many have mentioned before, after several uses it would not hold a charge. I also noticed the ball would become hot which concerned me. I followed the charging instructions when I first received this. Very disappointing.

It works like a charm
by PW (5 out of 5 stars)
January 18, 2018

Gave this as a gift to my husband whose back is always hurting. It works like a charm! Great tool for the back and I've used it before for my hamstring and legs. A little expensive, but...it is nice quality, three speeds, and it is a nice device. The top speed is super strong, against a wall it will definitely make lots of noise like its rocking down the house. We use this on the floor and it works great. All in all happy with this purchase as its a great tool to help with muscle pain.

A must have for every athlete
by Jenny (5 out of 5 stars)
December 30, 2017

I know the price looks steep, but it's 10000% worth it! The price for a massage alone is probably around the cost of the hypershere, except with this, you can use it again and again. You definitely get your moneys worth. As a competitive weightlifter, this is a must-have and all my friends constantly ask to borrow it... I'm in school in Canada and since hyperice isn't based here (look at that exchange rate...)and my friends dont wanna pay the shipping costs and duties, they use mine. Definitely makes the recovery process much faster!
