Small, but highest quality

This is strongly built, to the point of having an indestructible military feel to it. Upon opening the box I was surprised by how small it seems, as wide as my pinky finger and only large enough to hold a stack of 7 or 8 200 mg ibuprofen pills stacked vertically. It can also hold up to two horizontally folded and rolled paper bills. I could not get three to fit. I have no concern whatsoever that it would be waterproof and air tight as long as the seal is intact. Whatever you put into this will be very safe from the elements, and perhaps small enough to be safe from theft.

Good stuff but misleading photos

Real nice construction gives it a solid feel. About the length of a standard key so it's a good size for something dangling from your key ring. I'm giving it only three stars because the photos showing it with cash inside are misleading. You wouldn't be able to screw on the cap with cash rolled up that way as the thing is MUCH shorter than a rolled up US bill. I purchased this to have some emergency cash on me at all times (though, honestly, I don't know what much else you can put in there as the cavity is quite narrow ... some pills or matches perhaps?) The photos suggest that you could potentially roll up (4) US bills, but, in reality, (2) US bills is the best you can hope for. I suppose you could carry $120, but if you're in the kind of bind where you would need to whip out the emergency cash, breaking a $100 bill might be too much to expect. $40 should still come in handy when you really need it.

This is a great, heavy duty item that I just received today...finally. The only problem is that I can't get the blasted thing closed. I am going to ask someone else to try, just in case I am a total weakling. If I can't get it shut, then it has to go back. Ugh.

Actually Durable And Actually Works

The key safe is a handy object to go on the keyring of any normal set of keys. I found it is great for tucking away small note papers and such for when Im out and about and dont want to get a paper damaged. This is especially useful in the heavy rain episodes we've had in Virginia as of late and other inclement weather spells. The rubber O-ring around the top of this key ring manages to keep moisture and condensation from forming inside of the safe as well as keep water out of it as well. It is durable and Ive yet to find a way to actually break this O-ring. Additionally Ive not found any way to distort or crush the safe as well so it is not only durable on the inside but durable on the outside as well. This is a fantastic safe and actually stylish. It is a must have. I received a unit to review at no cost with the promise to provide a unbiased review.
