Good idea, lousy execution!

I took this product on vacation as a compact way to charge my Apple Watch. It's a cute idea, but the execution of that idea doesn't work well. In short, it's a piece of crap. None of the parts of this product nor that you have to supply yourself lock together and it constantly falls apart in your hands while trying to use it. You have to supply an Apple iPhone charger which does not lock into the product and it all falls apart when you try to unplug it from the wall outlet. You also have to supply the Apple Watch charging cord with electromagnetic base for the watch. Often when removing the watch after charging, the charger base pulls out of the product and again it falls apart in your hands as you try to removed the watch.

I don't suggest buying this thing. I'm a long time user of Apple products and 3rd party accessories since 1984. This one isn't up to snuff.

I read other reviews and already set my expectations low which probably helped. I was able to get it set up very easily and it does exactly what I want it to do, which is charge my apple watch nicely in my bathroom rather than have the cord/watch dangle on my counter. As other reviewers pointed out, it's hard to get your cord wrapped and stuffed into the tiny space provided, where the pressure from too much cord being in such a small space does not keep the end cap on very well. If this becomes an issue, I plan to just add clear tape to it to keep it together.

Overall, I think it's usable, and maybe just a little too bulky for my liking aesthetically. I would recommend if it's super important to you to keep watch off counter.

The Charge cable is not overly secure when placed inside, but with a little commen sense it is very usable. Placing small bends in the wire to prevent it from pushing on the cover will prevent it from being pushed off by the wire. I also wedge a small, folded piece of paper between the plug and the stand to hold it in place. Overall, this isn't a perfect design, but it usable. A similar product is available on Shapeways but for double the price.

Good looking and works well. Only pitfalls are the longer cords are hard to stash inside the stand and the watch must be tight or it will slide down and not charge (up and down direction).

Does not hold the charging block, tends to fall out, which leads to the stand falling out of outlet. Tried multiple outlets. It needs something to hold the block in place.

Charger is not included as depicted in the picture. The description notes the cable is not included, but is silent on the charger. Like others note, it's a piece of plastic. I'm not sure I've ever gives a 1 star, but this one deserves the rating. Despite not having a charger, I decided to give it a try to just run with it. Neither the cap nor the charger snap in place, so this thing just falls apart. It's worth about $1.

An ingenious product by a truly innovative brand. Wiplabs is such a cool company, always coming up with the most clever accessories to make life easier. This one is an instant classic. The cord that comes with the iWatch is long, which is great. Except for when it's not. It can get in the way and all tangled up. This product is wonderful because it stores the lengthy cord inside, and at the same time allows you charge your iWatch into more convenient outlets (horizontal or vertical!) I loved this thing so much, I gave one to my buddy and he's now obsessed with it too :)

I love the quality of the Wiplabs Apple Watch wall stand! It is sleek, simple, smart, and versatile. Very user-friendly with a nice finish, definitely a good price for an Apple Watch stand. Great for use in home and office. Highly recommended!
