Fun little toy

Got this for my boyfriend for Christmas. Fun little toy. Very powerful propellers that HURT if you try to catch it while running FYI. Battery life seems to be very low and have to charge often. Camera quality has not been tested yet. Controls are difficult but you can program the sensitivity of the movement to your liking. While my boyfriend was doing this, he had to charge it up twice (Maybe an hour worth of playtime before the battery runs too low to operate). Has taken a few hits to the wall and ground without the cage and it is still holding strong.

I bought this to learn how to fly a drone before I spent hundreds of dollars on a full-size one. It's a cute little toy. The battery only last about three minutes and then it doesn't have enough power to lift off. I also cannot get it to hover . I tried the calibration procedures many times, I think mechanically it's out of balance. The trim doesn't work either. But then again it was only a few dollars.

Does not fly, flips over and breaks propellers

could not get it to fly at all, flips over on its back every time, despite doing calibration procedure described in the instruction booklet. The propellers broke hitting the floor when it flipped over, replaced the propellers with the set included and the same happened again. It was a birthday present for my son, opened too late to return.

Fun!!! But...

As a new pilot, i crashed a burned a lot. As to be expected, but there is only one set of spare blades, which I am already on after a few days... Now paranoid to fly it without more experience. I am much better than when i first got it, but I have ordered the $15 nockoff to practice with before i fly this guy again. Directional orientation will take some more getting used to, as any drone I am sure, but with it being so small (even with the lights) it is hard to necessarily see in the fly which way is "front". Also, instinctively (from years of remote control cars/boats) i am used cutting the throttle at the chance of a horizontal crash - only thing is, it causes a vertical crash... Duh LOL. Oh, and if flying indoors and have long haired girlfriend/family, it will find a stray hair and get tangled up. Anyways, that said, at $70 (i see it is now listed for $50) i wish it included more blades, or there was a listing for a pack of blades from them.

Also of note, i get a max of two minutes of air time with this before it needs recharged... Nowhere near the 6-7 minutes listed.

Great little drone. Lots of fun. Filmed the grandkids in the yard. Too much fun! Great device to learn how to steer a moving object in 3 dimensions.

Won't fly straight

Won't fly straight, hover indoors at all. Not even a little. Made the adjustments. It will go front, back left or right (sometimes different directions different times). Nearly impossible to fly (and I am doing this all indoors)

Could not trim the quad, kept drifting.

What a blast! A great introduction to drones for my 10 year old. Battery could last a little longer, "trim" could use a little more range to allow for easier hovering.

Way better then the helicopters. Pretty fast and maneuverable ! And the throttle should be alone. And steering on the wright Close to a Playstation controller but they should of put steering on the wright. But I do like it once u get used to it and mess up a set of blades.

First Drone

This is my first drone so I really can't give much of a criticism but I feel like I got what I paid for... The camera was crappy quality but that's to be expected with such a small toy, and it's really really fast and the propellers can break easily alyhough mine haven't broken yet surprisingly.. It came as advertised, overall I like the little thing!

Oh and a sidenote is even though the battery dies in 5 minutes, it only takes 15 minutes to charge.
