Lot of storage for a USB, fast, no problems. People are talking about how obscenely big the enclosure is, and it is definitely a little bigger than a standard cheapo plastic flash drive, but it just feels more substantial to me. Definitely not a problem for me. Of course, it is a little too big to stick on your key ring and forget about it...

I expected a better product from Patriot.

PatriotMemory post-selling service is great because when I explained to them the problem

they replaced my pen drive with a new one.

Unfortunately, Performances decrease with a major file size.

It's great to have such a portable and compact 512GB of storage. Not cheap, but it delivers. Seems well made. We'll see how it holds up. I will come back and post if I encounter any problems. Speeds seem good, I get about 30-40 MB/sec on writes, with occasional spikes to 50-60. Not bad. Read speeds, of course, are much, much faster. I use this with a USB 3.0 extension cable and it works fine. It is about twice the size of a regular USB flash drive, but hey, 512 GB! :-)

Does not get warm in use like some others. I'm very happy with mine, so far.
2016-09-27 Update: Very happy with this. Just ordered another (at a lower price). Love having 512GB handy. It is large, but smaller than the SSD drives I was using. I use a USB extension cable which makes things a lot easier. Would not want this hanging off a USB port. That said, it is exactly what I expected and wanted, so I am very happy with it.

Tons of megs and good speed for this 512GB USB flash drive. I looked for this capacity for a couple of weeks and a couple of friends recommended me this one. Very good. I wish it would be a little bit smaller thou. When I plug it in my laptop, I can not use the USB by its side, because the case is wider than regular USB flash drives.

It is a little on the bulky side for a thumb type drive. But it is fast solid and dependable. The additional bulk a small trad-off for a fast reliable mass star age at a good price. It is as portable and small as really needed. No issues with speed as only slight slower than best in class.

Works well overall. Capacity and speed are good. Stick width makes it difficult to use the adjacent USB ports. A standard form factor would be a valuable improvement.

The memory is fast, but not as fast for writing. My intention is to use it for pictures and videos. It does the job but only to work with light apps. For reading is very fast.
