great for quick wedding shoots, or something without electricity. Doesn't linger for long though, and the chemicals will coat surfaces (like a lens) with grime, so you have to be careful.

I've burned through three fog machines. I got fed up, and then discovered Atmosphere Aerosol. More expensive than a fog machine, but these don't clog up and I use them for macro/toy photography so a little goes a long way.

I wish they weren't so expensive though ...

It was a cool idea but it just does not work , dont expect anything like you seen in videos those are extremely exaggerated , tried at two weddings with 0 usable result , it does fog up a little bit , despots super fast leaving less smoke than when im frying eggs lol , for it to work you will have to have 100 right conditions or a setup , a sun rise in to the window and a pitch black room , i can get same effect with an eCigg.

Works really well for creating atmosphere in photos and even video if done in a room with little circulation. And a small fan is enough to quickly dissipate the haze when done.
