Poor Distance and Inconsistent!by BK (1 out of 5 stars)

Unfortunately I have to give this Nerf gun a negative review. My brother and I each bought one to give to our nephew's as a gift. Both of them had very inconsistent power. Sometimes the dart will go a long distance with decent power and accuracy. Other times the dart barely would make it out of the barrel. Both our kids were disappointed but not as much as us adults that bought them as gifts. It was sad that within the first 30 minutes after opening the package I was searching the internet to find if there was an easy fix I could do myself. I was able to repair both of them and the kids were off and having fun. Due to the inconsistency out of the box I will not recommend this to anyone.
It's alright, but seems inconsistent

It's a cool toy, feels pretty good to hold, has good balance to it, no noticeable discomfort while using it.
However, it does seem a bit inconsistent, sometimes darts don't fly right, falling really fast, other times it works just fine.
Also, kinda feels more plasticky, and you can hear the plastics moving and bumping into each other inside the gun. Not really a complaint but still, thought I'd mention it.
Overall, it's fine, but I'll stick to my Disruptors.
Cool toy, but shoots much harder than expected.

Bought this to mess with my dogs, but this thing shoots WAY harder than I thought it would. Definitely don't just shoot things with this, especially your wife, she will be angry with you (like not talk to you for 30 minutes angry).
Great price, good quality.

Great price on a great toy. I have tried buying non-Nerf 'generics', and they are either clunky in operation, or just poorly built. My son has been playing with this often since Christmas, and everything has held up unlike the non branded ones. Great addition to his little arsenal of other smaller Nerfs, and I will definitely keep them for myself after he grows out of them.

Hard pass on this one.

Had this blaster for a few days before returning. The cylinder wouldn't consistently rotate, causing blaster to not fire. I saw on internet a possible fix, but it's a new gun. I shouldn't have to "fix" it right out of the box. Plastic on this blaster also seems uncharacteristically thin for a Nerf, didn't feel like quality.
And no slam fire?
The range is great and the action is really fun

This is the most popular gun in the house right now. The range is great and the action is really fun. We're using some knock-off darts that work really well.

Bought two of these for Christmas. We are in day two of use and the darts are sporadically coming out correctly. This is occurring on BOTH nerf guns. It probably wont be long before the darts will be coming out at distances of 4-5 feet on a consistent basis. There is obviously a design flaw in this particular nerf gun. JUNK! Going back for refund.
It works okay but not cosistenly enough.

Got it for my youngest so he could have a cool Nerf gun like his big brother. The overall operation was easy enough for him and he enjoys the cool factor. The performance is somewhat disappointing though as it doesn't consistently fire the darts very well. I suppose there could be an issue in the darts but I think it is more in the cocking/firing system of the guns design with sealing.
Fun at a fair price

I purchased this to have fun with my team in the office. I wish it could hold more ammo and didn't have to be cocked every time. But other than hose two small issues it's been fun to have (I've annoyed one of my associates who sits near me greatly, which Ives me joy).
This gun rocks.

Let me start off by saying AWESOME! This Nerf sniper rifle looks cool, shoots accurately, and shoots far! I personally like the iron sights on this better than any other Nerf gun I've looked down before. I'm going to list pros and cons below.
PROS:
Looks cool
Accurate
Shoots far
Has TWO tactical rails
Comfortable grip
Comfortable stock
Doesn't take batteries
CONS:
Cannot support any Nerf magazines
Only holds five shots
Now, something that is in between those, the bolt action. The bolt action is super simple and easy to assemble, its just two snaps. I personally love the bolt action and I think it makes it like 1000x cooler. Some people may not like having to cock their gun or pull back a bolt every time and on some guns it can be tedious. I don't know how everyone feels about bolt action, but ask yourself: Do I want to have to keep getting batteries to power a motor to shoot, or can I pull back and let it go (because on this gun it has a spring so it goes back on its own, unlike the crossbolt, a sick crossbow that you have to pull back and forth) which is cool.
Side note: This goes really well with this scope, but you will have to aim up a few more inches then you might remember. Scope link: https://www.amazon.com/Nerf-Modulus-Distance-Scope-Upgrade/dp/B00T2DFNK8/ref=sr_1_4?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=1519180807&sr=1-4&keywords=nerf+scope
Side note 2: You could put a bipod on the bottom tactical rail.
