Scandalous Naked Ram!
by J. Luff (5 out of 5 stars)
June 1, 2016

Who needs their Ram to be flashy and look like you could throw it across the room into the eye of an assassin climbing through your window? Answer - You Don't! It sits upright on the motherboard and your only ever going to see the top of it 99.99% of the time anyway, unless your the type of person who actual takes their computer apart to show your friends each part individually. Since I am not that kind of person this Ram was perfect for me! It's the same great Ram that Crucial makes just missing the aerodynamic qualities of the plastic sheath that allows it be used as mentioned before, but even more important than that is that its cheaper! This kit comes with 4 total sticks, 2 separate boxes each containing a compatible pair of Ram. This means, and I'm sure your going to be putting these onto a motherboard that actually has a minimum of 4 ram slots, that you want to keep the sticks "together". So when I installed these onto my motherboard I opened one box, removed the two sticks and installed them into slots 1 and 2, because that's where the manual that came with my motherboard said to put them. Then I opened the second box and took the other two sticks of Ram and installed them into slots 3 and 4, again because that's what the manual said to do. It is very important to keep the two pairs of Ram "together" on the motherboard because they were tested to be as compatible with each other as possible, within specified parameters, so mixing them up isn't going to do you any favors once they're in the computer. You may have noticed that I kept putting quotations around the word "together" in this review, and that's because not every motherboard is built the same so you need to read the manual that came with it to determine how best to install 4 sticks of Ram on it so that way they stay paired.

Great for Dell XPS 8900
by CES (5 out of 5 stars)
March 19, 2016

Works great in Dell XPS 8900 added 2x8GB to fill out the memory slots. At the date of this review this memory was the exact same specs of memory that came in the 8900. Clock 1066.7 MHz Timing 15-15-15-36. Cheaper than getting the memory from Dell. I installed this memory fresh out of the Dell box before activation and the setup complained about the memory changing and sent me to setup. I just exited out of setup and the machine rebooted and continued to the activation screen.

Cheap, fast, and good!

PROS
* 8GB 2133 for the same price as ddr3 1600!
* Micron chips!
* Cheap as f*#$!
* Not for overclocking, but not really a pro or con at this price and performance.

CONS
* It is green

Don't pay for fancy ram with heat sinks it doesn't need.

I have yet to see my ram go over 30c, doing anything.

If you are buying for gaming, web-surfing, content creation or business than this is the ram for you!

Satisfactory quality and performance for basic 'home' build.
by Rob R. (5 out of 5 stars)

Installed 1 stick and it's playing nicely with my ASRock AB350 Pro4 motherboard. Since I'm using an AMD A89600 APU, the max supported RAM speed is 2133, so I didn't have any need for 'faster' RAM. If I were running a higher-end CPU in my build, I probably would have picked up faster RAM to go along with it, but for a basic home build where 4GB is an adequate amount of RAM, I see no reason to quibble about this RAM's performance. I can run 1080p video alongside iTunes, two web browser windows, and a few other things running as well on my Win10 build without going over 3GB of actual RAM used. For gaming or highly intensive (such as image editing) builds, 4GB wouldn't be adequate, but for basic home use, this is an excellent way to start an 'upgradable' build.

Unfortunately with RAM, there isn't much to say about it unless I was overclocking with it or if it were faulty. But I have no intentions of trying to overclock with this RAM, and it's working flawlessly at the moment, so I'm completely satisfied.

Arrived early, worked as advertised
by SF Steve (5 out of 5 stars)

I wanted to add another 8GB RAM to my system on top of the original 8GB because I was consistently using 95% or more of physical memory. The new memory card arrived in only 3 days, even though it was scheduled to arrive in 2 weeks. The memory card was very well packaged, almost overkill - the DIMM card shipped in a clear rigid plastic case, which in turn was placed inside a sealed bubble envelope, and then the bubble envelope was itself sealed inside a small sturdy cardboard box. The new DIMM installed very easily, and passed several memory tests (I ran the memtest86 suite to give it a thorough workout). I also ran performance benchmarks before and after installation, and the added RAM increased my system performance, probably due to interleaving of memory card access. I actually ordered a slightly slower DIMM to match my existing RAM, but they shipped me the next higher speed DIMM. But it works fine, as the faster new DIMM just runs slower to match the speed of my older existing memory.

Great RAM and great price!!!

I'm at 32GB DDR4 in quad channel and this RAM is stable and works well with my mild 500Mhz overclock. Probably the best RAM i have used in years and at a great price. I currently see no need for faster RAM and much higher cost, Even while gaming on Gears 4 and Forza Horizon 3 in 4k @60hz i have plenty of headroom on RAM. I would buy again and this was my 2nd purchase of this RAM

Good workhorse memory
by Bob (5 out of 5 stars)

It's been running an average of 8 hours per day for over a month in the new mid-tower I built with no problems. The Crucial memory in my old PC has been running without problems for the past 6 years and I expect the same from this memory. I've been using Crucial memory for the past 15+ years and have had only one failure 10+ years ago and it was replaced with no questions asked.

Great memory for Skylake
by Amazon Customer (5 out of 5 stars)
May 4, 2016

Crucial memory is always reliable and a good value. 2133MHz is the default speed for the new Skylake chipsets, and there is no point getting 2400 or anything higher unless you plan on overclocking.

Long Lasting Performance

I already had a few of these installed from a build some years ago and got these to buy some more time on a Z99. The originally installed Crucials' from 2015 are still working fine and these seem to be stable as well after four months.
