Liked it with Caveats

The airbow is very powerful. Accuracy is spot on if I could ever get the original sight zeroed in... There may be something wrong with the included sight because my other sights were spot on at 25 and 35 yards. Out of the box, the second arrow exploded, splintering into three pieces. The first and third arrows flew straight but easily went through my 450fps broadhead target and into the 2x4 arrow stop behind the target. I'm getting a better target to handle the increased fps over my other crossbows but the cost of this new toy is adding up. Then there is the PCP filling. Just wait until you can afford a full scuba tank and adapter for PCP guns because the $400+ version Benjamin has is a rip off. An 80 cu ft scuba tank with the adapter is sitting at ~$250 and provides many times the fills of the Benjamin solution that is recommended. Don't forget that you'll need the hand pump to top off the system if the tanks are too fast or don't fill enough--which is another $100-200 depending on the brand.

Almost Perfect But a Few Things Could Be Designed Better
by Hubschrauber (5 out of 5 stars)

The Airbow is very accurate, but lots of people have said that.

The Airbow packs a punch at 1.5 times the speed of a typical compound bow, but that has been mentioned too.

The Airbow isn't as loud as a gun, but it's still quite a bit louder than you'd expect. Your neighbors will probably still hear it, and you probably won't silently blend in at an archery range.

Now for the nitpicks...
1) The quiver holder disconnects in the middle, so if the quiver isn't on the gun, the mounting bracket is still attached so it is just unnecessarily making the Airbow harder to put in a case, and harder to lay flat on a table. It would have been much better if the quick-detach was at the picatinny rail, so the whole quiver and bracket would be off and out of the way when it's not in use.
2) The air pressure gauge is on the "business end" of the Airbow. Reading the gauge means you have your face near where the arrow shoots out. You hardly even see toys with a stupid idea like that any more.
3) The air pressure gauge is just asking to be broken if the Airbow slides anywhere with that end first.
4) The arrow tube sticks out the front just enough to catch on something and get bent or broken. This might be necessary to allow space for a broadhead, but IMO, it should be more protected from damage.

To remedy #3 and #4, I made a DIY gadget to protect the gauge and the arrow tube. You can see it on Youtube if you want to do the same. Search for "Guard / Cover for Air-Tube / Pressure Gauge on Benjamin / Crosman Air-Bow".

The Benjamin Airbow is a great rifle. It allows people to shoot 26" arrows ...
by Dan Christiansen (4 out of 5 stars)

The Benjamin Airbow is a great rifle. It allows people to shoot 26" arrows at 450 feet per second with a high degree of accuracy. The rifle is shipped with around 1000 PSI in the rifle, so if you have a manual pump, you will need to put it at least 250 times to get it back up to 3000 PSI. It took forever! I will be investing in an air tank in the future to make my life easier.

The gun is around 7 pounds, very light, and easy to shoot. The stickers for the camo pattern aren't my thing, so I left my airbow black, the way it comes out of the box.

The 6X scope it comes with is a Chinese piece of crap in my opinion. The image quality is below average, and if you attempt to shoot with lighting coming from above, you get terrible glare. For a $900 rifle package, they should have provided a reasonable quality scope that is parallax free. Having to change the parallax for every distance from 5 yards out to 50+ is annoying and unneeded. The scope rings are terrible, and the riser that comes with the gun is very poor quality as well. It would have been best to send NO scope with the rifle. I tossed the scope aside and wound up putting an AR-15 red dot scope on the top with a high riser built in and it works great. Yes, the red dot is for a fixed distance, but the arrows are so fast that the point of impact at 20-40 yards is within an inch or two since it is so flat. I don't plan on shooting any targets further than 40 yards since I don't have a large piece of property.

Baseball size groupings at 80 yards all day and safer than any crossbow money can buy also if you are looking for something for your son daughter father or wife to hunt with this is it slide a bolt on the airbow then cock it with two and half pounds of force its thats easy watch the you tube videos of the airbow it is amazing now while most arent strong enough to reload a crossbow from a tree stand its hard and dangerous the airbow can be reloaded and cocked with ease from anywhere make the airbow legal to hunt with in all 50 states this is America we should always have the best !

Hunting whitetail Deer with an AirBow.
by Ronald M. Jaet Jr. (5 out of 5 stars)

Great product, I am lucky my state allows its use but only during gun season, super quiet and deadly accurate out to 100 yards. it really does deliver 8 shouts at full power and two more if needed prior to the tank requiring refill, hand pump only takes about 20 mintues to refill and as a test I left it full all summore and it held pressure, gauge on the weapon is great.

Great weapon...

Highly recommended!! Two shots so far during deer season... and two solid kills. One shot at 33 yds and ther other at 55 yds... both dropped within 10 yds. I have an injured right shoulder so was having hard time with my crossbow... the air-bow only requires you lift a lever to cock and decock ... super easy. 🤗 Included scope isn't that great, thats why only a 4 star vs 5 star. Go eith air tank, I use a scuba tank to fill.

Great

Works perfectly, nice to shoot and fun, goes completely through a 400fps target and a 350fps target set up back to back, good thing they were in front of a large tree, scope had to be turn all the way up to zero at 20yds but very accurate once zeroed worth buying,

group
by John Lammers (3 out of 5 stars)
April 30, 2019

Love the airbow. However, I can not consistently group. It seems only a few arrows out of a 1/2 dozen batch fly consistent. The inconsistency is over 8 " at 30 yards. Too much for a reliable hunting weapon. I have tried many different arrows. Benjamin even had me send the gun back for servicing/replacement. No different. Only thing I can do is find 3 arrows that fly similar and sight in using those. (this is out of 2 dozen arrows). I have shot a bow for decades and have experienced differences with arrows, but never to this extreme.

Hoping to find a solution. With all the people bragging about grouping, I feel there must be something wrong in my setup. Perhaps someone else has experienced the inconsistency.

Stack up one on top of the other

I shot my very first Robinhood with the second shot out of this bow at 20 yards. I lost my left hand so boy am I glad they now make this animal. I have to shoot at different targets with each shot. either that or buy new $12 arrows each time I shoot. I do have to backup my target front to back with each shot. mine shoots over 475fps. I really wish I could build my own arrows right now all I can do is change out field points and broad heads.
