I'm a grad student, and I throw my books around between bags. The bottom part of the crocodile is not very long, so it slips out really easily and is therefore marking nothing but its territory at the bottom of my bag.... It is amazingly adorable, and if I was better at handling my books, then it would probably stay in better... Alas...

Doesn't really hold your place very well in a book. The length is so small that if you turn your book over the bookmark will slip off. Better to find a longer type of bookmark. Giving it two stars because my daughter loves to play with it in the bathtub.
