It wouldn't cut a cherry tomato, it just smashed it. A piece of junk.

I saw this in an add and it was amazing! Or so I thought

I saw this in an add and it was amazing! Or so I thought. As soon as I took it out the plastic and tried it once on a cucumber, it broke apart. Like in pieces. I do not recommend it at all. Just use scissors. I'm pissed I wasted my money, went in the garbage.

Broken before using it!

Haven't even used it and it already disappoints! Took it out of the package, squeezed the handle.... And the handle tension spring broke off.. Already had to gorilla glue this junk after owning it for literally 5 seconds.

GREAT concept; HORRIBLE usage!

HORRIBLE! I was so excited to order this because I thought it would be an awesome tool for when I meal prep. NO. It does NOT cut through steak, or chicken like the commercial says. So disappointed. The concept is great, and I wish it worked, but it doesn't.

Works like a charm
by Maureen E Faller (5 out of 5 stars)

Not sure why the negative reviews. I LOVE this gadget. It's my favorite kitchen tool. I eat salads on a daily basis and this is my go-to device. It cuts through thick carrots like a charm. So far, after 5 months, it's still going strong and just as sharp. For those of you that think the blade is cheap, keep in mind that this is less than $20. Use some perspective when reviewing it. It's quick, easy to clean, uses very little drawer space and more comfortable to use than a standard cutting knife. Go for it!

Easy to use!

My wife is very pleased with this. She was using it to cut carrots for chicken noodle soup and made quick work of it. Be careful about getting your fingers close to the blade. It's super sharp, so just use a little common sense.

DULL--Won't cut a green onion or anything

Mediocre product
by Jan A. Bergeron (2 out of 5 stars)

Mediocre at best. Blade seems almost razor sharp to begin with but loses its edge very quickly. Okay for crunchy vegetables like cucumber or carrots, not so good for softer veggies and fruits. Useless for meats except for something very soft/tender like chicken breast, but even then you can't cut across the grain.

Don't!

Wish I had read the reviews before I bought this thing. It wouldn't cut green onions; the blade is dull and it requires hand strength, and then it tore, rather than cut, the green onions. Don't waste your money! If using a cutting board and knife is too much to clean up, you can buy cut-up stuff at the grocery store.

Cool, but not essential
by Hilmacha (3 out of 5 stars)

This item is a cool kitchen gadget, is useful, especially for potatoes and hard vegetables, it is sharp and does the job very well. Now, is this practical enough for you to replace your kitchen knifes? I'm my opinion no, first it requires certain exertion on your hands to use it, not extreme effort but I can see after a while getting sore, your hands are not resting really o anything, so ergonomically does not feel the most natural position to cut. I wonder if the repetitive movement and position may lead to carpal or similar, not to mention this won't be very friendly for arthritis sufferers. Bottom line it does the job of any sharp knife, is a cool idea, is not something essential or ergonomic, still like it but not crazy about it.
