Well I was skeptical about buying this product but now that I've had it use for a week I can't believe how well it works. The only drawback that I found that other reviewer's have stated is the unit cord isn't long enough I couldn't position it where I wanted it, the charger cord is exceptionally long. Now we'll see how long it will last but it's amazing.

The charging of the unit did not work as specified, the green light did not come on and the plug was loose inside. Instructions are very complicated, too many pieces to put together.

I tried your product and 1) there are too many pieces and it's "not easy" to use. 2) The Battery did not stay charged and 3) when I did get it set up, it's VERY noisy.

Review of Odorless

A decal at the top of the unit's packaging states that older-style, ball-cock type toilet valves (copper ball floats, anyone?) will not work with this product. The manufacturer website's FAQ does mention this. The Amazon product page does not.

There is inadequate clearance between the top of the vent pipe (on which the unit needs to sit) and the toilet tank cover. Visually, I confirmed that, since the older style's vent pipe is taller than newer ones. I might try to adapt it, and I'll update this review if it works.

I have maintained an original ball-cock toilet valve (wiki says the design was originally conceived in 1790) for many decades. It could be replaced with an updated valve unit, but the purist in me shudders - our porcelain toilet is from the 30's, with its tank capacity modified for low-flow flushes.

I'm going to offer up 4 stars to not upset the average rating.

Bought this on Kickstarter. One of the very few campaigns that delivered what they promised. The installation is easy and the product works just as they say it does. There is a slight noise the product makes, but it's not very loud and it's not annoying. Recommended.

Works exactly as advertised. I got this on Kickstarter and after a few adjustments during install (to get the sensor to work best) we've been running smoothly for a few months. We probably recharge the battery every other week (two of us in the house where this is the main bathroom used). Works so well I don't even bother to turn on the bathroom fan.

The Odorless Toilet Fan works exactly as advertised. I just bought the toilet fan and I had zero problems installing. Orders from the toilet after usage are very hard to detect. My house smells like a home again! Love this product!

Used this in my small cabin with the bathroom right off the living room. It absolutely works! Eliminates approximately 95% of the smell. Definitely enough to stop the embarrassment with friends at the cabin in tight quarters. Great idea and design! Would absolutely buy it again.

A little tip for cabin use, unplug the battery while you're away. It will last for several weeks as long as you do that.
