If you have a blanket hog in your life, stealing your sheets and blankets every night, you know how frustrating it can be. The clamp itself is covered with genuine rubber which gives the clamp a super strong grip on the bed linens while protecting them at the same time.The clamp has a two inch opening, meaning that it can clamp multiple sheets, blankets, or duvet covers at the same time. You install Cover Clamp on the side of the bed of the person who gets their covers stolen at night. The grip pad is the preferred method of installing the Cover Clamp system because it holds so well and it is super easy to install. You simply lift the mattress and place the grip pad about two feet under the mattress. The rubber of the grip pad combined with the weight of the person lying on that side of the bed secures the clamp so well that it can withstand even the strongest pulls from your cover stealing partner. The other option for installing the Cover Clamp system is to secure the strap directly to the bed frame. This option is used either because some beds don't have a flat surface under the mattress, like a box spring, to place the grip pad on, or because the user prefers a totally unyielding place to secure the strap. The Cover Clamp has a side release buckle attached to the clamp that allows you to easily getting in and out of the bed at night without having to remove the clamp or the grip pad. This is truly a fantastic item! I set it up as a prank for my husband. I have never been so warm at night. Sure, he now covers himself with a hoodie...but, hey....He can't take more than his fair share of covers!

I know this seems like a gag gift but this is the best purchase I have made. My husband used to leave me coverless every night and yell at me for taking them back. This is amazing and holds up against all the yanking, I sleep so much better now

A Strong Albeit One Clamp

My boyfriend and I are both blanket thieves. One of us is always left cold in the morning because one of us has successfully managed to steal most if not all of the blankets. On many occasions, my boyfriend bemoaned about not having something to prevent this blanket tug-a-war from happening. So I started doing research and found this product on Amazon. I have to use both hands to open the clamp, and once it's placed on the cover, it's not going to move without a human directly intervening. I didn't realize it at the time, but it's only one gigantic clamp that is being purchased (I suppose that makes sense since usually there's only one blanket thief at a time lol). It's easy to install, all you have to do is let the flat square paddle be placed under your mattress, and force the clamp open to be shut on your comforter. I suppose it could be placed on a smaller blanket as well but I would be worried that it might rip a thinner blanket (that's just supposition, I have seen no damage while using it with my comforter). To my boyfriend's delight, it prevented me from stealing the blankets, and even when I actually tried to readjust the blankets, it didn't budge much. However, I was the one who ended up in the cold since it couldn't deal with two blanket thieves. I decided to order a second one, and this will hopefully end the blanket tug-a-war once and for all. My only suggestion is to put it slightly closer to the end of the bed (I had put it directly in the middle of the edge of the cover), since it does make it a tiny bit difficult to easily get into bed (it still can be done, but you may bump into it).

At first I didn't even know a product like this existed, and when I was told one was coming home I laughed out loud. Much to my surprise this clamp shut me up on night one when the comforter wasn't stolen from me. It hasn't left my bed since, 10 stars my friends, 10 stars.

A bit expensive, but the quality of materials is very good, so it seems like it will last a long time. This works exactly like it says. The covers and sheets are still in the same place every morning. It makes making the bed a snap.

Not satisfied customer here! The advertisement was way too exaggerated (can hold 50lbs of force), but not really! I have to readjust the clamp everynight as blankets wont stay intact.
