Great all things considered!!by SidneyFreakingCrosby (4 out of 5 stars)

Summary: (Specifics follow below)
This is a great little oven with a small amount left to be desired in my experience. I'm a single guy who doesn't like the idea of using a microwave (yeah yeah, tinfoil hat and such) and this machine helps me steer clear. I would especially recommend this to anybody who has similar ambitions.
Pros:
-Steam option is great with the right application (great for leftovers!!)
-Sharp looking and well-built
-Easy to use
-Heats evenly and quickly
-Toast function is nice - but pay attention cause it's easy to burn your toast if you leave the bread in after the buzzer
-Self-cleaning with steam works quite well and how awesome is that?!
-Loads of combos with steam worked into oven functions
-The pan that comes with it is nice and of good quality
Cons:
-No standard dry oven function, only convection!!
-Beep is obnoxiously loud and cannot be turned down or off because it is used for the timer alarm too
-Every function is set to a timer that powers the heating element - can't just leave things a little longer without restarting the heating sequence.
Notes:
-Mold could be a factor if you're not diligent in cleaning/drying your oven after using the steam function.
- Hard water could probably wreak havoc on this oven...I'd recommend using distilled or RO water

OK, I have had this oven for over a year now, so I feel a little qualified to write this review. When I started shopping for a new toaster over, I almost fell over backwards when I saw the price for this one. After reading all the reviews on it, I decided to bite the bullet and buy it. SOOOOO glad I did. This thing is fantastic. Use the steam/oven combo setting and 45-60 minutes you have a perfect baked potato!!!! One of the most amazing things about it though is the clean up. It has a steam clean setting. Run it and then I wipe it out with a magic sponge and it looks brand new again. Things clean up easily even without using the steam clean setting. If you are able to swing the price, I highly recommend this oven. I don't think you will be disappointed, I know I was not!!!!
I also do not like the fact that it has no stay on oven

I have had this oven for 3 months and it now burns the toast on the lowest setting. I also do not like the fact that it has no stay on oven. The timer turns the oven off and you must be able to quickly reset the temp and timer if your item needs more time. I love the fact that it fit a large pan. Wish it would have been more user friendly
Best Appliance Purchase in a Long Time

I did a fair amount of research on this before purchasing because so many appliances are garbage. THIS one is a keeper and absolutely fantastic. It is sleek, VERY easy to use, accurate in the settings and easy to clean. We opted to get away from any microwave use and opted for steaming instead. The super steam option only takes slightly longer than a microwave and presents a far better food product. LOVE THIS OVEN.

After 12 years of using other brand toaster oven, it was time for change. I research for days everything I buy, taking to consideration pros and cons Cuisinart Steam-Convection oven was easy pick. We don't own microwave by choice, so toaster oven is used in our house on daily bases. We make everything in it and I mean everything, toast for breakfast, warm up leftovers from last night for lunch, broil fish, bake potatoes, steam vegetables for dinner. It's so easy to use, perfect size and easy to clean - oh wait...I remember why is so easy - it cleans it self...
Great versatile unit!

We really like this unit! It does a great job producing food that is moist but browned, in half the time.
You can also toast, broil, bake, raise dough, etc. It's very easy to use.
It takes up a fair bit of space on the counter because it's about 12" D x 19" W x 11" H.
But we have the room.
It didn't fit that well on our microwave shelf because you have to lift the water reservoir up to remove it.
Dr. Mercola (online) recommended this in place of microwaving and we are very happy with it.

I love this Cuisinart Oven, I've never seen or owned one that steams your food, bake & steams or broil & steams & everything comes out tender & delicious! The Oven has a Convection setting if you're in a rush to get dinner on the table & it's made of stainless steel & very easy to clean, just use soapy warm water & dry. I use this Oven everyday whether to warm up my food, cook a meal or just to boil a cup of water for my Tea. This was the best Christmas gift of 2017 that I had received!
Powerhouse appliance

Just moved to a new house. I needed a toaster oven and I wanted to replace the Miele steam oven I had in my last house. Guess what? This machine does both - very well. I'm delighted, because it's so much cheaper than a Miele and works just as well. And I don't need two appliances to clutter my kitchen counters.
I didn't think there was such a machine - great concept.
Love it.
Potentially great product - this one is defective, 10 days past Amazon's return window.

I have had this Cuisinart combo steam + convection for 40 days. At this point it is clearly defective. It STEAMS on the Toast setting (and barely toasts bread on even the darker settings). There is NO CONVECTION on the Convect setting. However, it DOES CONVECT on the Bake-Steam setting, with occasional steam. And there is NO APPARENT DIFFERENCE between the Steam and the Super Steam settings. I called Cuisinart and they said it's clearly defective, and told me to contact Amazon. However, the Amazon option to return as defective ends at 30 days - with no way to contact them for discussion. Fortunately, Cuisinart is willing to exchange this, as long as I pay postage to return the dysfunctional unit. I like Cuisinart, would give Amazon Zero stars.
best little oven i have had yet

works like a dream for leftovers and small baking chores. i haven't had great luck with a whole chicken yet, though. the bird is so close to the elements it burns a little before the rest is done, i suppose that wouldn't have bothered me except they advertise how great it is for a chicken. the controls are a little complicated at first, but after you figure it out it is easy. i would buy it again.
