I think my little gentleman bear is awesome. I love that there's two options on how to put him on your key chain, also I actually like how big he is, due to the fact I always loose my keys and it will probably be easier to find them now. He's very loud and the sound, sound frantic, which I'm sure would alarm someone. My only complaint is when I pulled his string, some stuffing got in the way and made it a bit challenging to get the string back in so the noise would stop. But, not a big issue since I won't be pulling it out again, unless I need too.

This is the greatest idea ever. The bear is adorable, and the alarm is very loud. He's cute, well made...I think every woman should have a bear gentleman!

I hope I never get to use him, but I will love carrying him every day,

I had issues with the shipping first time around -- package never arrived -- but the seller was so great, and immediately sent me another all the way from China. Great experience all around.

I bought it for my girlfriend who needs to go home alone late in night.

It's very dangerous, nothing happened on her before. But I think a emergency alarm like this is always necessary.

It sounds so loudly when you pull out the switch!

I think this little thing is so good, may save your life someday.

Bought it for my sister as a chritmas present, she really liked it and we tried it out and it's very loud, say if you were in a quite parking garage I could here it on the level above or below, and if pulled in a dorm room it could be heard by many neighbors/and quite loud in the hall depending on wall thickness. I think it would for sure scare off an attacker, especially because if the puller throws the pin away you cannot tell there's a way to turn it off.

Arrived with a dead battery. Barely makes a peep.

UPDATE: Was charged $5 shipping to return a 100% defective product. If you're order in 2017 or later maybe these have been sitting around in a warehouse and are all now dead and useless.

I highly recommend this self-defense personal alarm to all the girls because it is very useful. The keychain is very nicely made, and the alarm is very loud. The teddy bear texture is soft and easy on the skin. My wife thinks the bear is also very cute with its bow-tie.

I never write reviews but I'm doing so in hopes that someone else won't buy this dumb bear. It's a great idea and would be cute if it actually functioned. It is far too quiet to protect anyone from any danger. If I ever used this on an attacker I would be laughed at and then punished even more for trying to use something as lame as this as protection. It's too quiet to help anyone. Don't buy it!

The bear alarm is very adorable! I hooked it on my purse and it looks like a great accessory!

I did try to pull the bolt out and it works (very loud). It's never a bad idea to have this with me for safety!

I bought one for my sister and sister in law and they both loved them. Kinda bulky but if you don't have a way to get pepper spray or a side arm(which I highly recommend having on and concealing) these are amazing.

Purchased this for my niece that went off too college.

I tested it before I gave it to her and it worked perfectly.

Hopefully she never has to use it, but I feel safe with her having it.
