Limited content, but fun fir cubing fans

Does not come with the classic Rubik's cube game, but very easy and free to obtain online. Fun if you enjoy cubing, versatile and so much potential. Little disappointed there is not as many third-party developers making games for it. And the ones that are available, while good, do not have any kind of description or details instructions on how to play their games so I have not downloaded that many. We will see if there is more content in the future.

As for the standard games on the cube.

Road Runner, Cubris and Snake are fun, as you do not have to be super adept at the cube controls to play them. I downloaded the Rubik's Cube game from a third-party and it is a lot of fun. I am no speed cuber by any means, on a normal cube I take around 50-80 seconds to solve, on this my best time is just over three minutes. Time will tell if it becomes a GREAT game. But at this time I would say you have to be a cube fan to enjoy it, but a quality game nonetheless.

I love this thing. I got one to try out and just ordered 2 more for the kids. The colors are vibrant and the audio well done. If feels very solid. I'm looking forward to using the API (which helped sell it for me).

Some issues for a well conceived game.

it is a welcome addition to the Rubik's line, although for the price...there are issues where it is too sensitive and not sensitive enough, like in the actual rubik's cube puzzle app. Also surprisingly , there is no "undo" and algorithms get completely messed up when lines move unintentionally too often, and the cube is frustratingly unresponsive at times...there needs to be an undo, as this does not simulate an actual rubik's cube in the way you interact with it (at least one or two steps back). The way in which you turn the cube on is also hit or miss. I find myself making the same movements, but the cube will decide to not recognize it, and sometimes it does on full battery. There needs to be some tapping sequence to turn it on. It's also kind of ridiculous, where the only way to play multiplayer is to have another $100 plus dollar cube for it to recognize, and it must be the latest one. Both Rubik's revolution, and the Spark have pass to play features that work flawlessly for a fraction of the price. Again for the amount of money that is being paid for this, these features I am asking for are pretty basic. Also better tutorials are needed for downloading games and for explaining the games themselves. There are some some great games like snake and road runner that work very well, but the cube itself doesn't quite live up to its price point. (I bought this on ebay for just a few dollars less than what is offered on Amazon)
