Great idea for all ages

This interactive map purchase was for our grandson who is 5 years old. He and his dad tried it out right away.

His 13 year old brother stood by commenting on how he needed to learn more about maps himself. I thought

so too, at age 70. The world of maps has changed. It will be nice to find out what is new and refresh in our

minds what we thought we knew. Good gift for a curious little boy.

The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was the map does not lay as flat as I thought it would. So

I would not plan to hang it on a wall, but it will be fine for viewing on a flat surface.

Pretty bad! Poorly built. The flags if you keep hitting the countries get switched.

I called the company before ordering as I had questions re adaptability for a blind child. The representative (Becky), was so friendly and helpful I can not say enough good things about her. When the map came I was very impressed. I was able to make a few accommodations so my blind grandson can use it. It is a quality educational item that would benefit any child. I regret that the rating system limits me to rating as five stars, it deserves more.

Inaccurate flag tips.

I am surprised of the many raving reviews for this map mat. While it is entertaining to the kids, my 5 year old son already caught about 5 mistakes. The most glaring one is when it gives hints on the flag quizzes, it claims the United Kingdom is in Africa and gave Kenya in Europe.

Secondly, the mat comes folded and it takes a while for it to flatten out. Like we've had it for over a week but still has kinks in it from the folding. These kinks can sometimes affect the functionality of the map.

It took my son about a day to master all the flags so imagine to his surprise when he's asked a country flag, he presses the correct flag and the thing says Buzzzz. The only reason I gave it as many as 3 stars is that even with the inaccuracies, my son enjoys playing with it. It also has a limited number of countries on it.

WANTED to like this! It gave me a hint: "Look for Egypt's flag in Asia"....Why would I do that? 😐 Honestly not worth the money. Top heavy, not durable, difficult to press some of the smaller countries accurately, and Overall NOT WORTH $45-50.00!!! I'd have been satisfied with a product of this quality for $15-20.00 instead. Would NOT reccommend.

My four year old grandson loves this map. Boy did I feel like a dummy when he quizzed me on countries in Africa. He asked me to name three, I could only name two. This Nana has some studying to do!

This item has lot of info. It is good for 6+ years and older. It is not for younger kids as it may make them confuse. Sometimes touch screen does not work. It is not clear on how to operate item.

very poor item. I love the concept and thought it will be very useful for my 3 year old. They clearly have shown wrong map of India. And I would not want kids to learn wrong things.
