Love it so far! I've washed 6 different types of brushes and different sizes. It has its own charging station. And it really does cut my brush washing time more than half. I'm kind of in love with this thing. And the sand it comes with is pretty good too! I will attach a video where I can barely contain my excitement. I washed my foundation brushes too that had kat von d tattoo foundation on it..soooooo.... if you don't know what that means yall. It works. Like a freaking charm!

I was so interested to see if this brush cleaner would work because just like everyone else, washing makeup brushes is such a tedious chore. After reading all the reviews here, good and bad, I thought this would be good to try. One thing I thought that others had mentioned as well was to be able to rinse the brush before drying it. Made sense to me, but the idea of dumping out the dirty water and refilling with clean water for every brush seemed too time consuming. So, I went to my local Dollar Tree and bought a little round glass bowl for a dollar (!) that looks just like the kit bowl, to put my rinse water in. I just wash my brush in the soapy water then move it to the rinse water, swish it around to rinse, then spin dry. Works like a charm! Got all my brushes washed and dried in about 10 minutes and didn't waste any time or water. Here's photo of my rinse bowl together with the kit bowl. And, the rubber collar does fit on just in case the original bowl breaks. I actually bought 2 $1 bowls in case I broke one.... Love this system, brushes fit the collars, the collars stayed on the electric handle, even my big powder brush stayed on and spun dry.

So far I really like this neat little gizmo. It's got an excellent range as far as brush size goes.I have a pretty wide variety of brush types and there isn't a single one in my extensive arsenal that I've not been able to fit, even my tiny benefit kabrow brush and my behemoth Sephora foundation brush have a match!!

My main obstacle with brush matinence was always setting them all up to hang dry and keep shape, so it was a labor intensive chore that I hated.I grudgingly did this wash,scrub, dry, hang routine on 20 plus brushes because clean brushes are VITAL to get the best o aresults! With this it takes a few minutes to wash AND dry, so now they go right back where they belong instead of sitting out where my kids can get ahold of a $40 foundation brush and use it to paint with toothpaste.

If you want to keep your skin and makeup flawless & clear, you need clean brushes and this is so quick and easy. I do worry that the bowl is glass, it's classy but breakable...but that's way more about me being a hot mess that demolishes crockery than an actual problem.

OMG!!! I LOVE this makeup brush cleaner! Like really LOVE it! Not only does it clean the brushes in seconds, but it also DRIES them! How awesome is that! Even my husband thought this thing was pretty cool.

I did do tons of research on this product before I decided to buy it. I found that there are several other cheaper brands of this product, but they were very cheaply made. The bowls with the other versions are plastic and one reviewer said that the bowl started melting when she ran it under hot water to clean it! Also, the others don't have rechargeable bases, and there were many complaints that the collars didn't fit very many of the makeup brushes. I guess you get what you pay for.

But I have zero complaints about this product so far!

I no longer dread cleaning my makeup brushes!

First impression = hella good! This baby deep cleaned my brushes like crazy. I've never been able to clean them with an ordinary mat, it would take me longer and my hands would be pruned up from touching the bristle a lot looking for remaining dirt in between. With this, it separates the bristles during spin. It's kind of like the face cleansing brush, it does most of the work for you. I was scared at first when it spun dry cuz i thought it would mess up the shape of the brush but I squeezed it back in place asap and it was good. Best product I've purchased in a while. I love this thing, It would definitely be a great gift to all my friends.

Seriously the best purchase ever! I was hesitant to purchase this because I read the other reviews on how the 'bigger brushes' fall off the spinner... I had ZERO issues with that and I have some pretty big brushes. Maybe this is because I use the IT Velvet Luxe brushes from Ulta and they have a rubbery type grip that helps it stay on better? Either way this is a life saver!!! It took me less than 10 minutes to clean all my brushes, I posted before and after pictures too.

Much faster, easier way to clean make up brushes

Used mine for the second time today to clean all the brushes I use on a daily basis. First time, I only cleaned two brushes to see how it worked. I love the time saved by using this. I only found two issues with it, but not enough to give less than five stars. The first, waterproof make up, concealers, heavy products like that, the brush has to be either be pre-soaked or washed a few times. And the second, it isn't for use with double ended brushes. The rubber bushing will mess up the bristles or won't go over the second brush head. Seeing as I only have a few double ended brushes, this doesn't bother me at all. I can wash those by hand really quick. Make sure you have a hold on the bowl when you take the top gasket off of it (water won't fully clean out otherwise) it will cause a mess all over your vanity, lol. I can't see myself using anything but this (with the rare exception) from here on out. I bought a second one for my sister in law and can't wait for her to try it.

Ruined my expensive Sephora brushes.

I was so excited to buy this. I've been comparing these for a couple months and finally decided to go with this one based on the reviews. It is actually the most expensive out of all the ones I was comparing so I had high hopes. What a let down. I immediately tried it. First off, the soap didn't clean my brush at all. I had to put my normal antibacterial soap in it before they were clean. They are not fully clean and they actually have a blue/purple tint now. Do not waste your money. My brushes used to be white. The pink is the blush not cleaned off and you can see the blue tint.

Great at drying, decent at cleaning, but has some issues

I had the same problem as another reviewer... the rubber collar slides down off of the machine while spinning, especially at the higher speed settings. This happened with brushes of all sizes, but occurred more quickly with heavier brushes (obviously gravity is working against us). I had the brushes mounted correctly, according to both the manual and as described by the manufacturer in the previous comment. It's a fairly major design flaw.

I happen to still like the product, mostly because it dries my brushes ~90% of the way, so that I can use them within an hour rather than having to wait for them to dry overnight. As far as cleaning goes, it did a decent job -- definitely better than I was able to accomplish by hand. Just be aware of the shortcomings if you are thinking of purchasing one. I think in the future I will try doing an initial scrub on one of those nubbie silicone mats, then rinsing/drying with this product.

I did not purchase this item on Amazon. I backed the project on Kickstarter. Therefore I paid $35 for it, not the currently listed $49.99. I personally wouldn't pay the full retail price, especially after having used it myself.
