I took it upon myself to test this bag. I didn't go over the top but found a few things.

The fabric of the whole body of the bag can be punctured. So the outer layer. Didn't test to go any further than that.

The black strap's fabric where you place the lock CAN definitely be cut off. I only went to do one slice on that black strap and saw it is vulnerable. BUT what can't be cut is the metal wiring in it that can be felt through the fabric. Check photo, I did sew the cut to the black strap

When you lock the bag you can open it barely but not even my 4 fingers can get in, most I can get in is 2 fingers.

There is a pocket on the inside as well.

All in all still a good bag. I did the testing so you don't have to. Bitter sweet purchase

Used this while on my cruise and used it at every port we stopped at. Super comfortable to wear. I used it to carry my basics like phone, my Skyroam portable wifi, and some little stuff like sunscreen and wallet. We also used it to put our purchases into since we were buying small stuff and didn't want to carry anything. The only time it felt a little awkward was when I started adding a little too much to the bag (too much shopping I guess lol). The straps are comfy and don't slide and the clip works great for when the bag starts getting heavier (although if you have boobs, I suggest your are very cautious about it's placement). The lock tucks away into the label making it almost non-visible. Everything seems pretty solid and constructed very well, and the color and style means my husband will start wearing it if I buy too much stuff and it gets too heavy. So far, I love it.

PS- Pay not attention to the picture that states it can be cut into. It has a thick durable wire that runs through the strap, so you can cut through the strap but not the wire.

It was a gift for my daughter- and she loves it. Her wiork locker isn't secured, so she is able to lock the bag to her work table and not worry about wallet and keys.

Perfect lightweight SECURE backpack. It can be locked on it's own or secured to an object. A temporary security solution that would require heavy duty tools to break into. As a consultant I always had to take my computer with me where ever I went, to dinner, to the gym, etc. With this I can lock it in my room and know it will be there when I return. Would I add anything, yes, I would add more interior pockets. Note: It will be stiff when you first start using it but with use it loosens up and works fine.

It's a nice idea/concept, but I don't see it being super practical unless you frequently leave your bag unattended in high-theft areas... While I didn't test the durability of the bag, it felt rugged and well made... Unfortunately though, it seems that rigidity comes with a cost; and I don't mean fiat. What I mean by that is it's weight and ease of use.

This bag, empty, weights about 2lbs... to put that in perspective, it'd about the same as carrying a Macbook on your back plus the weight of the contents of the bag. As for it's ease of use, it's quite difficult (at least while new, it may get easier as it gets worn in) to pull the strap all the way out to expose the holes where the lock goes.

Lastly, the 000 combination didn't work on the lock I received. Looking at the lock, I could have probably applied outwards pressure and cycled through the numbers to get it open - but I had already decided that this product wasn't quite what I was looking for. I'm not a big guy and I'd rather not carry the extra weight or struggle with trying to get the bag tight enough to lock it.

Wires. Absolute Garbage.

Enjoyed this bag at first however over time, that inner part shown in the image started showing wires that would eventually cause scrapes on my hands and arms as I reached in there. Also tearing the arm lengths of my shirts and coats as I reached in to grab stuff. Normal wear and tear brought out wires. Absolute garbage. Don't buy.

This is great for an extra level of security when traveling. I especially like it for securing items in the car. I usually hide and fasten it under the seat or in the trunk. Its clearly not theft proof, but definitely a deterrent for lazy thieves. The bag is quality and durable, but I feel the price is still a little high for a drawstring backpack.

I live in Europe and travel often, so I needed a bag that's theft- and pickpocket-proof. This does the trick. This bag is perfect because it has multiple levels of security depending on how long you plan to leave the bag unattended. It can be secured to a bed post, fence, etc (perfect for hostels); but it can also be locked closed while you're wearing it (perfect for cities with lots of pickpockets). I purchased it specifically for my pilgrimage on the Camino de Santiago where you often need to leave your things unattended in hostels while you shower or sleep.

It arrived with a strong smell so I set it outside for a few days to air it out, problem solved.

As the instructions state, when you first start using the bag it's actually very difficult to pull the strings tight enough to get the lock through the loops. But with a few uses the bag relaxes so that locking is much easier. So don't give up! It works much better after you've broken the bag in a while.

I knocked off a star for "traveling" because even though it's made for travel, it is quite heavy. Almost too heavy to travel with! If they could shave some weight from the bag without sacrificing its sturdiness and locking abilities, the bag would be even better for travel. I understand where the weight comes from, though--there are wire cables all through the ropes, and also between the layers of fabric in the bag. It's truly theft-proof.

The tote is really good and safe. The only problem is that the lock broke within a week.
