I ordered the XL size. I have a fairly large head and most standard watch caps fit tight and tend to ride up my head. This cap will not do that. Fits comfortably. It does keep the head warm and it is fairly wind proof.

The hat only heats around the ears. There's a battery box that sticks out in the back and a red light shines when the heat is on.

Worth the money and works as advertised.

The battery pack is a little bulky on the back of the head.

Love the feature of turning on the batter pack and then the heat to prevent accidentally turn on and dead battery.
