The Battery Organizer is something we wish we would have gotten sooner!
by The Beene's (4 out of 5 stars)

We have tons of batteries everywhere around the house and that makes it very easy to forget which ones are charged and which ones are dead, not to mention the clutter it produces. We decided to mount this in our media closet and bring some order to this particular chaos. We gave it four stars for these reasons:

Pro's

Very Organized

Can be mounted vertical on a wall or placed horizontal in a drawer

Includes Battery Tester

Holds AA, AAA, 9 Volt, C, D and Flat Battries

Con's

When mounted on a wall flat batteries can fall wall multiple flat batteries can fall out when trying to get one

Some of the slots are so tight it can be difficult to remove the batteries

Overall we are very pleased with the purchase and only deducted one star for the two issues listed above.

Hinge and cover are poorly designed, mine arrived broken
by P. S. (3 out of 5 stars)
July 22, 2018

When I ordered this, I thought "How could a battery organizer be disappointing? I'm sure the negative reviews are exaggerated."

Well, I got it and where the lid attaches to the base at 2 "hinges" it was already broken on the left one. Great. The lid is actually fairly heavy, not just a light piece of plastic but a thick one. If you lift the lid up, it will fall backwards and snap off the hinges, forcing you to reattach it and since its fairly heavy it snaps back pretty hard. I'm not sure if it was just because my hinge was broken that the lid would fall off any time I opened it, but it seems like this would happen to anyone with the design of the hinges.

So I just ditched the lid. I have mine sitting flat in a closet anyway. With the way the lid doesn't latch, it just sits on top of the batteries when closed, I don't think mounting it vertically is an option and no mounting hardware is included.

The other negative for me is that the batteries (some of the slots) are very tight on the batteries. Might not seem like a big deal, but when you go to grab a battery, you will need to hold down the rest of the organizer so you can pull one battery out without the whole unit coming with you.

With those negatives out of the way, and the lid thrown into the trash, the rest of the organizer is decent. The tester works great with all batteries I've tried. The organizer itself holds plenty of batteries and helped me organize my "battery drawer" in the house, but ultimately if I had to order again, I would purchase a different one.

Great product. People just don't understand how to shop!

Here is the low down. Is this great. Yes. Is it made of billet aluminum and powder coated, with a bullet proof glass? No. People just don't understand the cost of things and what to expect. Some of the complaints by others I would like to address. The sockets too tight on some batteries, well look up specs of batteries. They aren't made to the exact sizes. Cheap ones aren't EXACT the same size as the good ones. Yes it's a millimeter, but that is where the snug fit comes in. Hello. Button battery tray hard to get batteries out? Jesus what do you expect? It's a tilting cup. It's not gonna dispense if but it stores them fine. People are too soft and expecting perfection anymore. Sad.

Not worth a penny

I agree with the people who have given this one star but have another major complaint. The "directions" (there really aren't any) say that this can be mounted with two screws...well I put a screw in one side and a nail in the other, but now I can't get the tester back in because it is blocked by the left mounting screw, which has to be out of the wall quite a bit for it to hold the container. If you push the nail/screw all the way in, there is nothing to grip it so that the container stays put. I'm curious to know how others have mounted this properly and safely. It's a complete let down, which is a lot for me to say considering I am only let down by Amazon's products and those of their sellers maybe once every three to four dozen purchases. Completely upset.

It's going back ...

The holes along the perimeter are too small to actually hold the batteries and that the lid won't close with the batteries inserted. If you press the batteries in far enough to almost close the lid, then you will need pliers to extract them. That is not a speculative statement - I needed pliers.

I wonder if this was put on sale because the blow mold was defective and they wanted to unload a "bad" batch. Really, that's the only explanation I can think of for shipping out something this defective. As it is, it's worse than useless and it's going back.

Goodbye Clutter, Solves many problems!
by Howard NY (5 out of 5 stars)

Well designed and sturdy product. It solves the problem of searching for batteries when you need them. I see myself buying less batteries as now, all my batteries are neatly stored in one central location. The tester is a great feature, it takes the guess work out of what is normally a very tedious chore of find the right battery, making sure its a good battery, and determining if the problem lies with the battery or the actual device. would highly recommend this to anyone seeking to organize their battery supply. Not some cheap plastic, but a really durable and solid ABS. Also makes a great gift!

Works okay, but wouldn't pay full price for the quality
by O. Chughtai (3 out of 5 stars)

Like several people have mentioned, the hinge design is bad. If you open it completely one side of the lid will pop off the hinge. Some of the battery holes aren't quite the right size and causes batteries to get wedged in. These might loosen up over time, but I wasn't expecting to have a "break in" period for a simple storage organization product.

The tester works fine, and helped me spot old batteries I needed to toss in the random battery drawer I have. It's okay for the price I paid since it was on sale, but at full price I'd have picked something better. It is a huge improvement over dealing with half filled blister packs that end up spilling the batteries to roll around in my desk drawer.

What the HECK
by Sandy Pinklady (1 out of 5 stars)

After I spent time gathering up and loading all of the types of batteries I have. Then and only then do you discover that the dang lid does not close. I mean what the hell use is that. If you don't want to hang it on the wall you have to store the case flat and look at all the space that would take up. I returned this. I'd give it 0 stars if possible.
