Not very good. Way over priced. Poor quality.by Steve Boyce (2 out of 5 stars)

I am a Knife collector. I wanted the original but very hard to find and is $1,200+ dollars. Here's my issues with it. 1 - it's very over priced for what it is. It should be half. It's worth about $40 max retail cuz it cost $10 at most for whole sealers to buy. It's made of 2CR 13 stainless which is the most basic lowest end metal for a blade in stainless. You will never be able to use this to mess around with. It will dull and chip very easy. The sheathing is terrible. It is waaaayyyyy to wide for the knife. The knife falls right out of it and it wobbles around. The hole opening needs to be a 1/2 inch smaller. It's also made in China. Very poor craftsmanship. The black cut in the steel is very off and looks like crap. The thickness of it is different every inch. The handle is cheap plastic. I bet I can break this knife with ease. It's basically a cool novelty for display only. I am not gonna return it. It's not thru prime so it's not worth it and will just be a story add to my collection of 150+ knives. As for the seller, the shipping was good for non prime and so was the packaging plus they sent a cool catalog with it. I understand the seller has to make money and that's ok but I really think the price should be a lot lower. Here are some photos of the issues. If you want it for show only it's fine. Other than that it's junk.
Not a quality metal

The main problem is the CR type metal is often found in kitchen tools and not ment for use as a knife. As a result the point loses a large amount of weight making it feel loose in your grip. As well the blades cover is open exposing key points in the structure to corrosion. And in general the craftsmanship is just one of low quality. It does have one redeeming factor however that being the Pomell attachment. It pushes the CG of the knife just above the index finger instead of a quarter up the blade. If I had to make improvements to this knife it would be as follows. Use 440A stainless, remove the holes in the case, and connect the tang and Pomell. You could also increase the Pomell weight by expanding the niffty little guard ring you have
Utterly useless, but well-crafted and a great display piece.

I cannot see a use for it outside of doing damage that only Phil Swift himself would be able to fix, but it surprised me with how well-made and well-balanced it is. It's almost like it was designed to be effective at what it does best. Fun little thing, but I wouldn't trust my survival to it; I bought it for the novelty of how ridiculous it is after all.
it's a good dagger for the price

Don't expect super-high quality. You're getting what you pay for. Still, it's a good dagger for the price. Blade has a few visible imperfections but is sharp, especially the tip. Grip is a bit hard for my tastes but it gives good traction in the hand. The spike on the pommel is very hard and sharp. Sheath is a little awkward, but given the sape of the blade I don't think that can be helped.

This is a great knife the only flaw is the hand grip is a little slippery if it was actually used your hand would probably slip down and come in contact with the blade
Badass!

This knife is a bit bigger than I expected and is very sharp! It stabs straight through things without any effort which is both awesome and a little scary. Nice for my collection. Wouldn't wanna stab someone with it though considering it takes a team of surgeons to sew the wound it makes. Very cool!
