You're probably thinking this button is pure novelty, but no, you're wrong. As usual. Now wipe those tears, you can learn from this.
At the base level, you jam this beautiful red button into the cigarette lighter and make pew-pew-pew sounds. Very effective.
Remove the rubber spacer ring and you get to make fire when you press it in. Nostalgia? Check. Fire Warning? Check. Chaff Release? Check.
Now wire your freshly installed button direct to your compliment of 6 sidewinder missiles, kick the afterburners and get in there Mav.
It's likely with all the need you have for speed, that you find yourself to close for missiles and you are forced to switch to guns. That's ok. You'll forget about that soon and perform a Split S, the ballsiest move most of us have ever seen. Still, it's quite a gamble with a multi-million dollar aircraft (don't be mad, she's hiding the fact that she's fallen for you).
If there is any negative thing I can say about this product, it's that reaching for the button puts you out of reach for the ejection handles. Your navigator will have to pull his. Be sure to remind him to watch out for the canopy, otherwise there will be a moody, depressing addition to your otherwise upbeat soundtrack.

Kim Jong Un has a red button.
Donald Trump has a bigger red button and it works.
This is biggerer and works besterer.
Pushed button. Missiles fired. Would launch again.
JUNK...Fell apart after second use.

JUNK...Fell apart after second use. After receiving it, I tested to make sure it worked. It did, once. Two months later, tried it again, and it fell apart blowing the car fuse as a bonus. Needed to take it out with pliers. See picture of its current state.
If you put it in a glass case and never exercise it, staring at the "Fire Missiles", then it is a steal for about $15.
I only bought it because I could not find any decent functional lighter on Amazon. Turned out it was neither functional or decent.
I went to auto parts store and paid $4 for one that continues to work.
Should have believed the other bad reviews and been smart enough to know the parts store carries them!
What will you decide to do?
Looks cool but super dangerous

So when you depress it the lighter heats up as expected. If you aren't holding your hand over it to "catch it" the red hot lighter shoots out of the female unit and you now have a red hot fire starter loose in your car. Good as a fun gimmick but pretty dangerous.

I'm not a violent person, which is why I don't intend to use this button to launch actual missiles at cars or pedestrians that offend my sensibilities. However, I do intend to use it to launch imaginary missiles at drivers who I determine are deserving of a(n imaginary) fiery death.
The button looks as good in real life as it does in pictures, it seems sturdy and fits in my car's cigarette lighter the way it should. I can't confirm it heats up because I doubt smoke and that's not why I bought it. But I can't imagine it wouldn't.
My uncle had something like this in his car in the 90s, and I haven't seen anything like it since. When this button came out, I had to have it. I promise I'll put it to good use.
The attached pics are just to confirm the pics in the product description match what I received.
Fits BMW well, once you remove the washer

Higher quality than I expected, heavy aluminum. When I first installed it in my 2011 BMW X3, the missiles did not fire and it actually jumped out of the socket when it got warm! I removed the black washer so it sit a little deeper in the socket, now all the missiles fire when the button is pressed and it does not jump out of the socket when it gets warm. One star was removed due to needing to remove the washer to be safe and the fact that the button tends to get hot if pressed too often.
Fun and well built

I'm really happy with this little gadget. It fits the plug on my Ford 500 perfectly and it looks pretty sharp, too! My car isn't equipped with a cigarette lighter so I can't comment on how well that part works, but the mechanics of the button are smooth and silent while satisfying to push. It looks nice, feels nice, and adds a fun touch of whimsy and humor to the interior of my car. Definitely makes my drive to and from work a little easier to bear, too! This would make a great stocking stuffer for sure.
Cool, but words are not centered.

Cool little device that my kids thought was hilarious. Mine will not stay pushed in, so it doesn't actually heat up. That's OK, as I don't need it to do that.
The device is well-made, except for one thing--the words "fire missiles" are noticeably NOT centered on the button. It still looks cool, but this is disappointing for an otherwise nice-looking little enhancement.
Way better than expected!

So awesome! Someone told me that this existed, and I immediately had to go find out for myself. I found this and I couldn't contain my excitement- instantly bought. First of all, I love the quality- It feels like it is heavy duty and it will definitely last through lots of road-rage moments! It feels like it is something that would be a genuine part from a control station. The piece is definitely a conversation-starter whenever friends come in my car. No one can resist the urge to push the button! Thank you for making such an awesome gadget!
