Product Description
nCamp has designed a camping stove that uses a fuel source readily available in forests. By relying on sticks and twigs that cover the forest floor mean that you have one less thing to carry. While wood burning camping stoves exist, they are usually bulky because of the nature of an effective combustion chamber. By making a collapsible combustion chamber, nCamp created a compact and effective system that uses both wood/biomass and solid/liquid fuels. The nCamp Stove is an effective tool for cooking outdoors and it folds into a compact form factor that is easy to pack and carry. - Just unfold the nCamp Stove and expand the combustion chamber. - Fill the chamber with combustible material and light. - Within minutes you will have a fire hot enough to cook and boil water. - It is compact. - Has a useful work surface. - It is made of aluminum and stainless steel and is durable, stable and lightweight.Features
- The Ultimate Camping Stove - Complete your camping cooking gear with the nCamp camping wood stove! Our portable gas burner can be fueled using gas or items readily found outdoors, such as twigs, coal, and wood.
- Designed For Faster Heating - This survival stove features a collapsible burner that creates a Venturi effect for better and faster heating. We built this outdoor wood stove with vent holes at the bottom for shedding ash, allowing for increased airflow.
- Multiple Fuel Options - Bring this small wood burning stove to your next epic adventure! Our single burner camp stove accommodates solid fuels such as wood, charcoal, and hexamine and liquid fuels such as isopropane, gas, and alcohol.
- Compact & Portable - Our propane burners for outdoor cooking measure 9 inches wide and 1.5 inches thick each when collapsed. It’s a small wood stove that weighs only 33 ounces, making it easy to bring when you’re out hiking, backpacking, or tailgating!
- Built To Last - The nCamp mini wood stove is made with premium-quality stainless steel and aluminum. Use it as a camp wood stove on its own, or enjoy it as a propane camping stove using our isopropane fuel adaptor (sold separately).

Great in concept, poor performance.by Mike A (1 out of 5 stars)

I bought this product and was really excited to take it out for a spin in shenendoah. Unfortunately I used it over the course of a three day hike and promptly sent it back. Do not buy this product, it will not work as advertised.
Reasons:
1) The legs do not fold out seamlessly and sometimes get stuck on the burn chamber
2) It is difficult to start a fire in this and keep it going. Had to continually relight some newspaper to get the fire going to burn twigs. Remember the burn chamber is small and about the size of your fist so it's not as easy as it seems.
3) Once you get a fire going you have to constantly feed it with twigs and sticks. I gathered up bark, twigs, and had some hickory wood chips as fuel which I pre-gathered. The reason being is that it doesn't get hot enough.
4) Whih brings me to my next point, Tmthe twigs/embers do not get hot enough to heat up a pan. This may seem strange but I lit a fire and put an 8 inch cast iron skillet on it which should get plenty hot but once you put a pan over the fire it extinquishes it and the fire will smoke a ton due to lack of oxygen. You can't under pack it with twigs cause it won't get hot enough and you can't over pack it either.
5) Clean up was kind of cumbersome and had to put the device in boiling/soapy water to get off the crusty oil.
This device might work better with alcohol fuel instead of twigs but I think the main selling point of this device is that you can use dry twigs that you gathered.
With a little bit of re-engineering this device might be a great alternative to MSR or isobutane burners, but there are no good alternatives. I could barely cook eggs on a skillet with the ncamp stove.
If there was a perforated metal crown around the top of the stove on which to rest the pan/ventilate/distribute the flame, the device might work better. Also an Jet boil type of base may create an air vortex which gets the flame hotter but as it, it does not work at all.
Definitely a win!

This is surprisingly lighter than expected. VERY EASY to set up and take down. Will be trying it out with my boys (6 and 10) soon and am excited! Wanted something that would be easy to take along and simple (and cheap) to fuel. You can use tinder, twigs and sticks to start and keep the fire going. The cooking area is fairly wide for the size. Overall, very pleased!
Pros:
-Lightweight
-Cheap
-Easy assembly
-Easy breakdown
-Cooking area is wide
-Cooking area is sturdy
Cons:
-This is SMALL, so don't be deceived
-Cooking area isn't big enough for a large pot
-Because the fire is so small, I'm not sure if I could get it hot enough to boil water (I haven't tested this, though)
-You cannot feed the fire without picking up your cooking pot
Update: My boys (ages 6 and 10) were able to use this with ease. Definitely a great buy!
Leave the fuel at home, nature's got you covered.

Bought this for a camping trip in conjunction with nCamp's Coffee Maker. This compact stove fits both inside and strapped to the outside of my hiking backpack. Although the chamber is small, you can continue to feed sticks/leaves through the small gap between the range and in the small holes at the bottom. This stove heats up VERY quickly so be take care when feeding the flame. I made coffee and bacon on the stove; both turned out great and only took a few minutes. If you're also looking for a prep surface, then I highly recommend getting the one by nCamp because it fits together with the stove for easy transport.
Awaiting replacement stove

I bought this & tried it out....once setup it works pretty good, not a full campfire, but enough heat to get water boiling. A little tricky to keep fueling fire with sticks or twigs since the opening is small, but it works. My only issue with the stove is that the opening of the "chamber" wasn't smooth. One of the rings kept getting stuck & forced me to pry open each time. I may have just got a faulty one, but customer service was great. They actually contacted me first & when I made them aware of the issue she offered a suggestion that didn't work, but ultimately kindly offered to replace the stove for me, so I'm still awaiting replacement to see if the next one opens more smoothly. If so, I'd be a pretty "happy camper" with this stove. It's a small but very portable size so that's also a plus for me!
Love the small size and ease of use!

As a scuba diver I have to carry a lot of gear with me. Sometimes I dive at quarries and remote spots. This stove works great because it is so small and I don't need to carry any fuel with me. I just use one of the small camping starter sticks, fill the chamber with twigs, and I am good to go. It heats up fast. I do have to add twigs periodically to keep it going. And, occasionally it gets a little smokey, but I don't mind as it adds flavor to the food I'm cooking. I plan on buying a few as gifts for my diving friends. The accessories worked great too!
It is ready to go at all time

Works great for camping and shorter backpacking trips! It packs small and takes up so little room, eapecially when paired with the prep surface. Burns well off of the sticks and twigs I found around my campsite.

We loved taking this out with us on our camping trip and neatly folding it away to fit perfectly into our backpack for our hike. We love in CA, so the only problem is sometimes its hard to light a fire camping due to the drought, but we were able to use it on our trip to Pismo Beach as well as loved it!
Great quality and a very packable stove

I love how this thing folds up and packs. Keeps the fire going with plenty of ventilation and looks great too. Made a couple pots of coffee and pretty sure my frying pan will work great too. Probably not the best for ultra lighters at 2 lbs but my guess is it will last forever. love it.
Forget the stove fuel no longer!

Works great! Took me a few times to really figure out how to maximize the flames for cooking, but its a quick learning curve! Just make sure to be extra cautious about where your using it, and check for fire restrictions. Wildfires are no joke.
