Exceptionally comfortable wireless headphone with clean powerful sound!
by Eric D. (5 out of 5 stars)
June 30, 2017

These headphones are really great. They are by far my most comfortable pair (ironically the least comfortable are my Beats). The ear cups are very soft and padded. The headband feels very sturdy without being too heavy. They stayed on my head very well today as I worked for several hours out in the yard. Each ear cup rotates freely and even folds in to make then easier to carry or pack in a bag.

The sound is very powerful and plenty loud. They do not appear to be plagued by the low volume & weak bass that most of my other wireless headphones have had in the past. That is probably because the MS301 is a significant step up in quality and slightly more expensive than my other pairs. The cost is very reasonable for the build quality and the sound quality. I'm very pleased with the bang for the buck. I was not familiar with Mixcder a few months ago but they made a high quality headphone for this price point.

The headphone claim to have a 20 hour life on a single charge. That seems very high to me but a little difficult to test without leaving them on all night and day to see when they die. I have yet to recharge mine and I've been using them quite a bit so I am starting to think it's actually possible. I should mention that I have not had any connectivity problems, lag or glitches and the wireless range appears to be quite good.

These headphones have a lot going for them and I can't think of any major CONS so that is why I've given them 5 stars.

Solid, Comfortable and a great price!

Pros: Premium quality sound and build, and very comfortable

Cons: Only connects to one device at a time, no case

I have been a big fan of Mixcder for a while, and saw that they had these for sale so I picked up a pair. As Bluetooth headsets get better and better, companies have to keep upping their game...but there really isn't a lot to separate from the pack. These headphones do a really good job at getting some of the small things right.

First off, let's talk comfort. These are very comforatable headphones. They are squarely in-between "over ear" and "on ear". The ear cups cover the whole ear very well, blocking out noise and giving complete coverage. Conversely, the earpads are directly against the ear, very lightly squishing my ears in just the right way. I never get sore while wearing them, but when you take them off, you can definitely feel how the press up against your head. This also adds to the "noise isolation" feature, as they do a great job of making sure your ears only hear the music, and nothing else. Also, and this can not be overstated, they are very low profile. You don't feel like a goon with a huge set of headphones on your head. They are very understated, and look great.

Sound quality: My headphones have to sound great. No compromise...and these sound great. They do a really good job of finding a balance between loud without the annoying pumping up of bass that seems to plague headphones these days. They won't blow you away with their bass, but they do get plenty loud. If you want to hear your music as it was intended, these are good reference headphones. They aren't quite what you would get out of a super-high end pair of cans, but you are welcome to drop 3x the money on those if you like. The instrument separation is really good, and the sound is really clear, even at the highest volumes. My reference song is "Dani California" by the Chili Peppers, and it sounds great through these headphones.

Bluetooth: Connected quickly and easily to my iPhone. My only gripe here is that it can only connect to one device at a time, so if I want to switch from iPhone to iPad, it requires a reconnect. Not a big deal, but it would be nice to connect to two devices. It has all the requisite buttons to advance songs, adjust volume, etc.

You can also use these as a wired headset as well, which is really nice if the internal battery runs out, meaning you won't be caught without headphones if your battery dies. Just make sure to bring the cable with you (which is why it would be nice if these came with a case, but that is minor).

I also connected these to my LG television, and they performed just as well, It was cool to hear all the nuance that I miss through the TV speakers.

Overall, these are well-built, well designed headphones that are on par with many of the much, more expensive versions that are out there. I have been in bands for years, and am very particular about my headphones, and I can't imagine anyone being upset with these. They are really fantastic and I truly do recommend them.

Easily the best pair of headphones I have used!
by M. Ahmed (5 out of 5 stars)

From all the headphones I have owned over the past year, I must say these top them all. From the quality of comfort to the sound, this pair is exceptional in both criterias.

Experiencing the sound for this device for the first time was incredible. The bass on the device is deep and paired with the over-ear cushions provides an immersive way of listening to your music.

When making a purchase for headphones, one thing I always look for is over-ear cups, mainly because it allows for a more pleasant listening experience for longer durations of time. The cushions on this pair are uniquely designed, where they envelop around the ear entirely, which also greatly reduces the leakage of sound from the device. The band of the headphone's grasp around the head perfectly, so they do not move or slide off once they are set in place.

The bluetooth was very simple to setup and quick when pairing and the range seemed to work when I tried roughly from 15-20 feet. I also received a solid 18 hours of listening on this device, which is very close to what was listed on the package.

The only critique I have for this pair of headphones is the weight, where the pair is a bit more heavy duty compared to other devices. I believe this is due to the material of the cups, which add a little excess weight to the product. Although this is the case, I personally feel the weight adds a more durable feel to the headphones giving me the impression that they can withstand a nasty fall.

The price for these headphones are not exactly on the cheaper end, but I must say it you are getting what you pay for and more! I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and look forward to start experiencing my music than just listening.

Not Noise-Cancelling as advertised, among other things.
by Magnus Vertruger (3 out of 5 stars)

The Good:
- I like that it's a full metal frame. I have a large cranium, my brain is larger than average which is why I have a large cranium - this makes me smarter than most folks (LOL), regardless, a full metal frame guarantees the headphone will not split in half from the top centre if I wear it constantly and stretch it.
- The sound quality is above "good" Quality.
- It's the most comfortable headphones I've worn so far. All the others (*ALL*) I have tried, if it didn't hurt me on the ears, it would hurt me on the top of my head when using them for a prolonged period of time.
**The BAD**:
- There is no noise-cancelling noticeable on these headphones. It could also possibly be that the product does not have a noise-cancelling technology (opinion, not yet a fact. Needs empirical testing (Decibel testing from a factory) to prove). The Product Name and title could be a false advertising and that is a BIG problem (legally). @MixCDER needs to update the product title and remove any claims like that.
- Bluetooth is poorly engineered. It only connects to one device, and if you try to connect it to another device, the previous device will fail to connect again without having to pair it again from scratch. (Please note, the two devices are 15 miles apart from each other (one device at work, one device at home), so this is not an issue of conflicting devices with their Bluetooth turned-on at the same time.)
- Addendum to Bluetooth being poorly engineered: Bluetooth range is poor. moving away for 20cm, you will hear distortions (meaning, the headphones are not starting to like it and it's saying "I'm having a hard time trying to connect to the device".
- The plastic ring-thing that's connected where the fitting adjusters are is of poor quality. They cracked (possibly due to sweat and heat?), and fell apart. I have electrical tape wrapped around it to "replace" its looks.

Better options available

I was looking for a low latency headphone with decent noise isolation or ANC for watching videos or playing music on flights. I think that I have medium to high standards for sound quality. At home, I have Sennheiser cans that are a delight to listen to. When I am out and about, I have several different pairs of higher priced earphones that I like to use and all have beautiful sound quality. This purchase was about going bluetooth, but keeping the cost down.

The product is not very noise isolating. I could tell very little difference with these on my ears versus off. There is no active noise cancelling (ANC), so I expected a strong seal and quiet environment. This was disappointing.

My biggest disappointment was in sound quality. It really reminded me of what you get from the earbuds you get at the supermarket for under $10. There is sound, but it is lifeless and shallow. I didn't care for it at all.

I picked up a second set of similarly priced headphones to compare. These are the AUSDOM ANC7. The sound quality is much better with the Ausdom ANC7s. There is noise cancelling with these. It is far from the ANC you get with Bose, but may be enough for my needs. I'll know more after my flights this week.

Anyway, I have returned these and kept the Ausdoms for the time being and will hold on to them if the noise cancelling is sufficient.

This Headphones has some specialty. This can be used as Wired or Wireless. Both are convenient as the wireless pairing is very Easy. The foam pieces that go around the ears are very soft. These are very comfortable over the Ear.These come with Very recent new Technology of the Wireless V4.2. Due to this Technology, these support faster stereo sound transmission and an incredible range of more than 10 meters distance!.These are very good on the Battery, rechargeable lithium battery that, once fully charged 2 hours, can last for up to 20 continuous hours of playtime. These Headphones are equipped with advanced APTX-LL technology, that provides lossless transmission and crystal clear, smooth sound without compression or interruptions! Overall it's worth it for every Doller you spent on this Headset

Great premium bluetooth headphones
by John Otis (4 out of 5 stars)
August 5, 2017

This is a well made high quality Bluetooth headset. The materials are premium and the sound is fantastic. They are a great looking brushed metal and do not feel cheap. I'm not an audiophile but was impressed with the clarity and of the sound and the bass. I usually feel like the background noise and music overwhelms the spoken sounds in action movies but not in these as they seem to strike a great balance. Connection is seamless and I have not experienced any cutting out or static, range is great. I can move around my house even a few rooms away and do not experience any issues. Battery life is awesome.

What would I improve: They are a bit heavy - probably due to the premium materials used. I wish they had active noise canceling. At this price they should come with a carrying case for traveling. I have the Mixcder ShareMe headphones and the ability to connect more than one headphone to the same Bluetooth is a great feature they should build into all of their products. I would still buy them again!

I have to say I'm not disappointed. As soon as I got them

So I did a lot of research on bluetooth over the ear headphones and settled for these. I have to say I'm not disappointed. As soon as I got them, I charged them up and gave them a try. Connecting to my device was easy. The comfort is great; they don't feel too heavy for my head or ears. The build quality is very nice. The best part is the sound quality. My son pulled up bass bounce on youtube and had me listen to it. Man, I was impressed. The deep bass sound was excellent. I didn't too high of expectations and they were far exceeded. I use the headphones often at night, while I lay in bed next to my wife who's sleeping. The sound is clear and it doesn't disturb her. Overall, I would recommend this product. It's a great value for the money.

Music, phone conversations and more!
by Toya (4 out of 5 stars)

Pros: The appearance and boxing makes it look elegant and well-made.

The sound is amazing with these.

I tested the volume to see how loud it went..let's just say it get VERY loud, if you like your music like that.

Called my mom and tested the mic. She could not tell that I was using a headset. :)

Headset was a little tight, so I extended it and wore for a few hours.

Con:

Cannot use it for Xbox since wired connections don't allow mic use, but I used it for single player gaming to get that surround sound gaming effects!

Overall, I'm excited about my purchase

Cannot wait to tune out everything at work, while listening to some smooth tunes!

Well built, quiet fitting but Subpar sound.

Recently tried the Mixcder MS-301 wireless bluetooth headphones with aptx low latency to see if they performed as claimed.

The headphones were well packaged in a hard case with all the goodies required for charging and audio connections.

They appeared well made, and light weight. A nice surprise was there were no squeeky or creaky sounds when placing on my head.

Unlike some all plastic headphones of major brands.

This unit paired up easily to my Priva 3 Low Latency transmitter.

I wanted to use these headphones for recording (tracking) purposes in my studio.

Even though they claim a latency under 40ms, there is still a definite delay between source and headphones, like a slight vocal doubling effect.

The sound, while clear, was below par, and not as claimed. It lacked punch across the bandwidth, especially in the high frequencies.

These headphones were not as good as a pair of Minelab branded bluetooth aptx LL unit used for prospecting, which had more detail and punch.

When will somebody make a decent pair of wireless headphones for recording. How hard is it to do so.
