The SplashLight is the world's first water blaster that blasts bioluminescent glowing water! With the SplashLight and our special bioluminescent fuel that we call a ReLume (included in the box) all you have to do is add water to be able to blast water that lights up on its own. The two natural ingredients of the ReLume are easily loaded into the 2 chambers of the SplashLight. The ingredients are kept separate, when you pull the trigger the water from each side comes together producing an amazing and bright bioluminescent reaction. This is inspired by bioluminescence found in nature and this toy is our way to help bring the wonder of natural light to your backyard.

Neither gun worked - No "bio-luminescent" anything here

Neither one of these guns worked upon arrival, and I followed the instructions to a T.....I filled both chambers up with "warm", not hot, purified water, then slid in the packets, lined them up with the holes and popped them both in, removed the empty packet and closed the lid tightly, then shook it well. Water came out of the nozzles when I pulled the triggers, but it was just plain, clear normal water, no glow to it what-so-ever. I did see some very pale glowing water dripping out around the outside of the gun here and there, but definitely not from the nozzle, and definitely not bright. After shooting plain clear water out of my new "water guns" till nothing more came out, I opened up the lids and noticed that one chamber was still completely full, yet no water was coming out at all when I pulled the trigger. This was the case on both guns. So it appears that either a tube/hose was clogged, bent, pinched, or somehow otherwise broken, or maybe the spot where the 2 chambers meet together wasent connected properly....who knows, but what I received from this company was nothing more than 2 overly-priced water guns, that even leaked on me when I squirted them. No "bio-luminescent " anything here. I had even went on their website (BioToy.com) and ordered 3 more sets of ReLumes ($29.85). Complete waste of money all around

UPDATE: After submitting this review, I decided to contact BioToy directly through their website. I sent an email to their customer service department explaining this issue, and within a day received a very apologetic email back, along with my choice of a refund or a replacement. In 2-3 days I had two new "working" guns at my front door, along with a free 3rd gun as an apology for the inconvenience. This company has outstanding customer service, and now that I am able to use the guns as they were meant to be, I can say that they have excellent products as well. 5 stars!

These blasters are incredible. My kids couldn't get enough!

The strength of the glow at night blew away our expectations. It is truly a novel experience unlike anything else.

We also loved reading about the science behind the bioluminescent glow. It's great that the toys are all safe and nature-based, too! A must buy!

What a great product! Easy to use and it was incredibly bright! It was a perfect compliment to our July 4th; the neighborhood kids loved it. Best of all, it didn't leave any stains or marks. Once the lights were on, you were unable to tell that there was anything other than water. Will be buying more reloads :)

Two of the three packages didn't work but it was related to the gun itself. The seller sent a replacement unit immediate. 4 Stars mainly for the seller and one less star because the product was broken initially.

I ordered this squirt gun a few months ago over biotoy.com before it was available on Amazon. It is a truly unique experience to play around with real bio-luminescent water. The glowing liquid coming out of the squirt gun is really as bright as displayed on the pictures. Give it a few minutes until the bio-luminescent materials are completely dissolved and shake it to maximize the glow. Another tip is to be in a dark surrounding (e.g. turn off your patio light) to really get a great light contrast. The kids had an awesome time with this toy and lit up the whole back yard. It looked like a scene from Avatar.

Highly recommended.
