Loud sounds when peddling
by Aztennisfan (5 out of 5 stars)
April 10, 2018

Product design and use is great - 5 stars - but I have had numerous issues
1st Bike - desktop defect - quickly replaced; later bike started making loud popping sounds with every pedal stroke, sent video of sounds to supplier, sent new bike as replacement.
2nd bike - just received yesterday, with every pedal stroke there is a new sound that is different from the first bike that sounds like something is loose and rattling around. Sent video to supplier awaiting response.

I love the bike if only it would have a good pedaling mechanism. Will a third bike be a charm or do I give up? Attached is video from 2nd bike.

Update: 3rd bike has been great so far after several months of use. Changing rating from 3 stars to 5. Customer service was 10 stars - thanks Flexispot.

Well-made and easy to set up
by Peri Dwyer Worrell (5 out of 5 stars)
February 3, 2019

The desk-bike was incredibly easy to put together: flip the wheels out-click!-stick the seat post in--put the desk on and use the Allen wrench to tighten it-batteries in the LCD display-and done!

The bike works smoothly and the range of resistance is good for using while working, though if you're a serious cyclist you won't be able to get a heavy workout even at the highest setting. But that's not the purpose.

The seat adjusts up and down with a spring loaded lever like an office chair. The desk glides front to back easily and locks firmly in place, which allows you to lean forward or backward when you want a change of position.

I have worked my way up to 1:45 daily and my goal is to spend most of the workday pedaling. After the first hour I got to where I didn't even notice my legs moving while typing, though I have to stop pedaling when using Photoshop or anything requiring fine cursor movements.

The only downsides: 1. Seat doesn't tilt; I'd like it to tip it forward 10-20 degrees for comfort. It's not a standard seatpost so you can't really replace it either, but the seat provided is wide and well-cushioned with high-density gel foam. 2. The whole unit on its wheels is kind of high off the floor, so getting on and off is a little awkward, especially when my legs are wobbly from pedaling. The casters aren't the lockable kind, so you have to be careful it doesn't roll away while you're hopping up onto the seat. I am only 5'2" though, and this would probably not be an issue for an average height person.

Overall, I feel like this was an excellent purchase that should help me ward off some of the bad effects of a sedentary writing and editing career.

Transformative Enhancement to Daily Life
by William N. (5 out of 5 stars)
March 24, 2019

The FlexiSpot Bike Desk might be the most rewarding purchase I have ever made-personally and professionally. Within a week, it paid for itself many times over through my increased productivity. Previously, I lost critical work time to the stationary bike at the gym, where I was shackled by the limitations of the iPad. By allowing me to pedal and work at my computer simultaneously, the FlexiSpot freed me from those constraints and extended every workday by hours.

Meanwhile, it improved my personal health and overall state of mind. Delightfully in front of my apartment window, I can now work out for prolonged durations, lost in my work, and not realize I'm exercising.

Receiving the machine, I was taken aback by its heavy weight. This made a challenge of reaching its final destination, but that small sacrifice was easily worth the durability of the product and its ease of assembly.

The FlexiSpot Bike Desk is far more than an incredible value; it's a profoundly transformative enhancement to daily life.

"WOBBLY DESK!"
by IG: @shakyillustrates (5 out of 5 stars)

People really just skipped out on reading the instructions entirely just because it's super easy to assemble! It says it in the instructions that if your desk is wobbly, you must tighten it even MORE! After I screwed it super tight, the wobbling disappeared entirely. It's super sturdy! The seat is comfortable in my opinion of sitting on it for over 2 hours at 6/7 speed. I do own paded biker shorts I plan on wearing if it ever starts to hurt, but I really don't see that happening if I keep sitting on it correctly with good posture. I use it on level 6 or 7 to get a nice workout in while working & I'm able to do so without a problem. I'm 5ft tall & found it super comfortable to use. I don't have to lower the seat to get on or off, which some people said they did & I don't see the reason why! That's just complicating things. Just put the seat & desk at a nice level where you can easily get on & off without having to adjust... One of my favorite things about it is that it has wheels so I can just roll it onto a corner out of the way when not in use! Great investment! I purchased it during the "deal of the day" so I suggest waiting for another great deal like black friday or cyber monday coming up! You'll be even more happy with your purchase if you can get it cheaper!

I also love being able to stand up whenever I get tired ...

I got here at 8 a.m., started sweating around 8:30, and here I am at just after 9, sweating my face off. I went from having anxiety about living a sedentary life to cancelling my gym membership cause I'm working out all day. I also love being able to stand up whenever I get tired of biking. I recommend this desk for anyone who works and office job or even to have at home.

Great for its purpose - to keep you moving
by Christopher B. (4 out of 5 stars)
March 23, 2018

This is the second one that I have purchased in the month - this one is for my wife because she wanted to use it as well.

Let's start with the positives: Very easy to set up. It's a lot smoother that I thought it would be. Pedaling resistance is sufficient for its purpose. I do not use the supplied desk as I have an adjustable stand desk and just roll the bike under the elevated desk.

Negatives: I would give it 5 stars if it had a regular bicycle seat post and longer crank arms - my guess is they are about 170mm. The seat is way too wide and not right for my ass. Due to the lack of fore/aft seat adjustment I'm also not in the correct pedaling position - my knee is too far forward of the center of the pedal. I wish I could switch out the crank arm length as well, then I would have the perfect setup. I know this is not designed to be a true bike trainer (designed to keep you moving while working) but, if you are a cyclist you may find the seating position uncomfortable.

easy set-up. Able to use while I work - but I am a queen at multi-tasking. Started out with 5-10 miles a day - but three weeks in I am able to do 15-20. Already can feel the difference in my waist and overall strength. Also sleeping better.

I really like the wrist rest at the front of the desk
by David Boyce Barnes (5 out of 5 stars)

Bought the Flexispot Standind Desk Exercise Bike after considering some under desk pedal units only. One bolt assembly and enough variable resistance to make it worth using both when I just want to pedal for a while and for when I really want to work out. I really like the wrist rest at the front of the desk. Seat is a bit firm but probably because I haven't been on a bike in a while. I purchased a 3rd party gel seat cover for exercise bikes for $15 and that helped. Ride it each day now for at least an hour and has really motivated me to keep with it and do more to get in better shape. I highly recommend. Worth the $500.00

Great bike desk
by Buyer (5 out of 5 stars)
April 20, 2018

Great bike desk. Compact for storage, but opens up (chair and desk can raise up, and desk is adjustable closer or farther away) to easily accommodate. I'm 6'2" and have no problems. Adjustable resistance. Will break a sweat on higher resistance settings, or can cruise on lower settings when more focused on work. Doesn't shake around. Well built. Sturdy. Highly recommend.

Pedal while you work!
by Lauren (5 out of 5 stars)
May 14, 2018

I've been wanting this for quite a while, but I also wanted to wait and make sure user reviews were consistently good before splurging. This turned out to be exactly what I needed. I have a desk job in a virtual office and some days I cannot get away from my computer long enough for a bike ride outdoors. Other days, the weather makes my usual outdoor ride impractical or impossible. This desk bike is exactly what I need for those days. It is very attractive and streamlined, so I don't mind at all having it in my home office. It took 5 minutes to assemble out of the box, with very simple instructions and only one bolt to install. I loved that it came with rubber covers for the pedals so you can bike barefoot -- but in reality, after about 20 minutes I still need to wear a pair of shoes. That's no big deal, though. The seat is comfortable enough, although too wide for me, and my one big wish would be that they offered interchangeable seats --perhaps in the future. The control panel is hard to read since it is between your knees and does not have a backlight. The resistance is super easy to adjust, the seat adjusts with just a squeeze of a lever (just like my office chair) and the desk has two levers, one to slide it forward and back, the other to raise it up and down. I did my first zoom meeting by bike today and it was great. It is so quiet that you can't year it enough to transmit through my laptop so it doesn't disrupt meetings. I will post again later after using this for a few weeks, but based on my initial experience, this is a great product for people looking to fit some movement into their day.
