Automaton Bite White Wall Clock
This big wall clock Automaton Bite White is made of several layers of wood, woodstained and painted high quality acrylic paint and a piece of acrylic mirror. The front elements of the clock are decorated with detailed and intricate engraving. Stainless steel elements and copper coated screws are used in the construction of this clock model.
While making the design of a new clock we were inspired by a very strange steampunk tattoo that we suddenly caught sight of. It contained an idea of time evanescence and at the same moment its tangibility, which you can literally touch.
★ The hands motion is complemented by the movement of 4 gears each of which is an AA battery operated. The mirror on the background adds some volume to the clock and amplifies the movement effect, transforming the clock into a kinetic installation.
★ Upon request the clock can be personalized with a text engraving, which will neatly supplement the look of the clock face.

It looks worse then on pictures. You suppose to have it metal-like. But in reality it looks like painted wood.
Its just 5 clocks combined together (yes you'll need 5 AA batteries), with most of the wheel not spinning. You have just 4 wheels that are rotating, and they do not create any common mechanism, they just not connected to anything and just moving the air!
And last (I know this my issues, the dimensions are there), I thought the clock would be large, but they are just somewhat bigger than typical wall clocks...

Got the package yesterday all the way from Russia with no problem! Had been worried about it being damaged in shipping, but was completely fine. The clock is quirky, unusual and beautiful, which is why I bought it. Even though the inner gears are plastic, you don't notice that at all when it is hung. It barely makes any noise...just a minor hum. Absolutely love it!

Would have given 5 stars however have found batteries difficult to insert. the back of the clock feels delicate and one of the cogs had fallen off when item arrive, however once everything was up and running absolutely love the clock. Gets alot of attention when I have friends around ... One of a kind

I want to give it 5 stars but there's some paint that scraped off at the top near twelve. But I still love this thing. Truly unique and one of a kind. I highly recommend!
