The flickering light looks good, but there is a major annoyance when used in conjunction with a timer. Sometimes it flickers when it comes on, and others it produces a steady light. This means that you have to turn it off and back on manually to have the flicker. I find this very irritating, and may not have bought them if I had realized that this would be an issue. Seems like a really dumb feature to me. People who buy flicker lights want them to flicker!

I love the way these lights look, pretty realistic flame action. Neighbor walking by instantly commented on how "neat" they looked. Very New Orleans gas lamp-ish.

I absolutely love these bulbs. Had to buy an adapter to e26/27 but that was my own fault of not knowing what size bulbs I needed for my lamps. I have a unique set of lamps and they have been very difficult to find the right style bulbs so I thought I would give the a try. Totally changes the feel of our entertainment room! Love love love! Hope they last! Pictures and video don't really do them justice.

I don't see anything resembling a flame..except it's orange glow and pale light emitted.

I wasn't impressed it appears to be a large round rectangular bulb that glows orange. There is no flickering or resemblance to a flame. Nice if you want an orangish type of yellow atmosphere, mine are in mercury glass table lamp and visible easily to all in the room. They add atmosphere not a great deal of light, which I expected Nd flank either side of our furniture beneath a wall hung television without interfering in the color or picture quality as well s lighting near att is supposed to assist your eye sight.

These are very eye catching. There wasn't any instructions so it took us a minute to figure out how to switch modes. Just barely unscrew the bulb then screw it back. Looks great in my driveway light post.

Love these, at a distance of over 20 feet, they do look like actual flames. These add a whole new dimension to our outdoor lighting, I just re-ordered two more to finish off our lights. Great product and LED to boot! I would (and have) recommend these to a friend or family member. Great lights.

UPDATE: After a couple of days, they started flickering and now they are just solid like regular bulbs. What a let down because they looked so cool at first. =(

These are great. For anyone driving by and your neighbors, they POP and look like real flame. We have a "cookie cutter " house and they make it so much easier when we have company to get the right house. Would def. buy again!

We loved our flame lights! They are adorable and just what I wanted in the look. These are "yellow-orange" vs. another I bought that is "red-orange" and we prefer the "yellow-orange" because it looks most realistic, closest to what a real flame would be. Easy to install; fits a regular lightbulb fixture outdoors. We have one at our door and one above our garage. I am hoping since it is LED that it lasts a long time -- I'll keep you updated.

I am fascinated with these light bulbs. I am using them in up lights for Halloween. They have a nice bright light, and contribute to the ambiance. They glow with a beautiful flame, and are way more inexpensive than an others I have seen.

This is my second purchase. The first ones are great, both yellow and orange light. This second pair is just orange light. Kinda similar to real flame but not really. Will try someone else next time.

I have an old historic barn that I have been working on for years, I have two lights on both sides of the door. I put the two flame bulbs in each one, they make the barn look absolutely beautiful. every one loves them. Thank you Richard MacKay
