Wore the jacket one time and it quit working. I have tried to contact the company through email and they responded on how to do a warranty replacment,I did all of that and no reaponse from them. Just want another hoodie replacment asap!

The build quality of the shirt is high, although it's definitely made in an indoor style - if you plan to take it outside, treat it as a jacket liner, not as an out cover.

I've attached an infrared photograph of the hoodie running at high/maximum power, I think that answers a lot of questions. There isn't one heating pad on the back, as another customer said, but one on the back, and two in the front, on either side of the chest. None in the arms, none in the hood. (the squiggly orange lines in the picture are lengths of wire that heats up, this is how the hoodie works) Also, as the picture shows, in a warm house (not outside), the max temperature will be 105 F, which is nice. I felt like there was a nice heat output, which is something that's needed on cold days.

The included battery seems to be of good quality and capacity and fits into an inside picket. The battery has a power button, but it essentially does nothing - the actual power button is the small button on the upper left chest in the photo - press it 3 seconds to turn on or off. I did get frustrated a little bit when the battery button wouldn't work, but eventually reviewed the manual and figured it out. Pressing it quickly, once, cycles through the modes (pre-warm, low, medium, high) - the little button will light up with different colors to indicate what the setting is, so there's no way to get confused.

BUY THIS JACKET!

Okay so first off, order 1 size smaller than what you normally would. I'm a really skinny guy but I'm 6'2" so I normally need medium jackets to be long enough, but I ordered a small and it's still a tiny bit big on me but it's just about right.

As a born and raised Texan that moved recently to Ohio, this jacket was an awesome choice for me. When the weather is in the 20s and 30s before work or at the local football games I can flip it on and be warm enough to not really mind the cold. It's really great waiting for the truck to warm up!

The sleeves do NOT have heaters in them, but it really doesn't make a difference, there's so much heat in the mid section that you don't notice the arms as much.

My biggest complaint is easily the brightness of the LED. It brings a lot of attention to you and you get a lot of people ask why your jacket is glowing. I wish there was a switch in the pocket or something.

I don't work outside for a living so I don't keep the heater on for more than a couple hours at a time and the battery has never died on me. I charge it about once a week or 2 weeks depending on the weather. Have not tried the battery to charge my phone.

I have run it through the washer and air dried it andit still works perfect, just make sure you don't dry it with heat (Per the instructions)!

It seems like a high price for a jacket but it is 5 stars worth it for what I use it for. If I was working outside in the cold all day it'd make a good middle layer, but not the only jacket you should wear in that kind of cold exposure.

I love this heated jacket! I am a person who hates the cold weather but this jacket changed how I felt about being outside during winter. The jacket has 3 different levels of heat that can be selected from low, medium, and high. Most times in about 30 degree temp. I only need to go up to medium to be comfortable with only a T-shirt underneath. It has a rechargeable battery that holds a charge for a few hours maybe up to about 4 on medium. The only problem you will have is needing a second battery for long outings. The material is thick and soft to the touch. The light that signifies the level of heat desired is always an ice breaker (No pun intended). Example: blue-low, white-med, red-high. Because of the light people always wonder what it is. I usually tell them I'm a part of a special space agency hear to observe humans in real time and the light is to communicate with my ship. That always gets a laugh.

I took the suggestions I bought a size smaller then I usually wear. I'm 5'5" 250lbs and wearing a M. The heat is wonderful. In the 19 degree NYC weather medium is enough to keep me warm under my jacket and trust me I'm always cold! The battery last like a whole day of on and off use (my coworkers like keeping the windows open in winter) Best $120 I spent.

It really works well in the cold weather. I wear a leather jacket, over the hoodie, to help keep in the heat. The medium size hoodie fitted my arm length well, at 33 inches. But I have a 31 inch waste, and the jacket fits like an extra large. Original, the hoodie fit pretty good. But the material stretches over a couple of months. And the heavy battery, becomes somewhat annoying in your left front inside pocket. I wish it had a belt clip for the battery. And be advised of the extremely bright LED on the outside of the jacket. Not only will everyone ask you what the LED light is for, you can't drive a vehicle at night, without being blinded by the LED inside your vehicle. That's why I decided to wear a light jacket for extra insulation, over my hoodie. And you'll spend all of your time, explaining to people what the bright LED light is about.

Took it out of the package yesterday and put it on. Bought a size small and it fits just a little big, but it's good if you like to pull the sleeves down over your fingers (it's just right for that). Only used it once for an hour but it warms up nicely. High quality material. The battery looks high quality and is not too heavy. The battery goes in a special zipper pocket on the bottom left inside of the hoodie. It's not too heavy that it weighs down the left side of the hoodie much. The logo glows quite brightly. People around you at night will definitely notice it glowing and you'll probably get asked about your awesome hoodie frequently. Of course, you could put a piece tape or something over it if you would prefer to hide the glowing logo. So far I'm happy. Time will tell if the battery lasts. I'll update the review in a couple months as to how many hours the battery lasts between charges.

Per the previous reviews on this product, I ordered a size down for my boyfriend. The small fit perfect, even thought he generally wears a medium. He loves this hoodie. The heat works well and he's always cold so it comes in handy quite a bit. He is able to put on a coat comfortably over it and he stays nice and warm in the winter. It's also stylish which could be a bonus for some people. I recommend this hoodie and would buy another one if I needed it.

This is such a functional item of clothing. 11 out of the 12 months of the year, my wife is freezing. So for christmas, i bought her this jacket to keep her warm. Charging the battery takes a bit of time, but once charged, the jacket does a great job warming the upper body. It doesn't warm the lower extremities, unless you wear it as a pair of pant, which doesn't really make sense, does it? The heating coils are in the chest region and the lower back region. Please note that this will not cook you alive, as some may fear. It gets warm, but not too warm - there are 3 level of heat that you can cycle through. The glowing emblem on the chest is a neat touch...literally...because you touch it to change modes. Some people saw the glowing chest emblem and mistook me for Iron Man's asian cousin...easy mistake to make. Overall, it fits great, comfortable, and works very well!

I got one of these for my husband and he loved it so much he wanted another one. So now he has two. He is THAT guy. You know, the guy who can eat pretty much anything and not gain a pound? The guy who can eat a whole pizza, gain half a pound, walk across the street to the mailbox, lose the pizza weight and then some, and is freezing to death all year long. This keeps him nice and warm, it fits well, and it's also a nice conversation starter because people want to know why he has a glowing light on his shirt (is in electric, or are you not-so-secretly video taping everything I do? Is that a body cam? Am I on candid-camera?). Yeah, it's fun. He's had the first one for about a year and it still works great. Now he wants pants and socks...
