This is my second one, I bought the first one a few months ago, and used it for steaks and chicken breast. I am amazed by the taste of the steak, it's definitely better than most steaks you get from restaurant! I invited friends to try it, everyone thinks I am iron chef now! LOL I bought this one as Christmas gift, its circulation heat way will be more efficient than the one I have. It's a perfect gift for young guys, they can cook the quality food than junk food. The power is good enough, and modern design is very attractive. The only thing I will suggest is if they can make it more compact.

I bought this Sous Vide a few weeks ago since my friends have been raving about how perfect they cook steak. I decided on this specific one since the price was reasonable and had good reviews. I've used this three times already and it was super easy to use and the holder that came with it was extremely helpful! Selecting the temperature you want is straightforward and you have both Celsius and Fahrenheit options. The steak comes out tender, and just a quick sear and you have yourself some juicy steak. Highly recommend!

First time cooking using the sous vide method after seeing it used a few times on a cooking show. I decided to test out my new toy with a pork chop dinner. Set up and using the precision cooker was easy and clean up was even easier. The pork chop cooked evenly and came out surprisingly juicy and delicious. LOVE IT.

I use this to make a dry rib eye and shell steak for Thanksgiving. Set it to 135 degrees for 2.5 hours and finish it on the grill. It's delicious and loved by my family.
I've used this three times now and so far, so good. It took 20 minutes to go from cold tap water to 135 degrees. However, if you start with hot water you get there much more quickly. Really enjoying this cooking process.

I have owned the Sous Vide for over a months and have used it several times to cook primarily steak and salmon. the operation is quite straightforward, and one simply puts the meat on the sealed bags provided and then choose the desired temperature to cook. I find the temperature to be quite accurate, and the taste of steaks/salmon is great. I do finish the steak by searing it on a skillet, but it is your decision whether you want to do that or not. I think this is a good entry-level Sous Vide that works for my purposes.

water bath cooking of meats with this cooker have yielded the most mouthwateringly delicious results I've ever had at home. knowing that you're never going to overcook, and have the flexibility to keep it heated until just before being eaten is super convenient. the cooker is simple to configure and gets the job done with no fuss. not only does it heat the water, but it has a propeller that circulates the water, helping keep the entire body of water at/near the desired temperature. i can't speak as to long term reliability yet, but it's looking good so far.

This is an awesome new gadget for my kitchen. Hard to over cook meat with the temp gage set to the perfect temperature. Can go easy on the marinade and still get juicy steaks. Really seals in the favor.

Works well. I compared the water temperature reading on the Sous Vide to my quick grilling thermometer and seems to compare well (0.5 degrees F). Cooked steak and salmon. Perfect cooking once i determined the right times to cook. Make sure the have a good digital meat thermometer the first couple times you use the cooker. If you don't cook the meat long enough (and like it medium rare), you may end up with it under cooked (rare or worse) in the middle. Just increase the amount of time and try it again. I think I had 1.5 hours the first time for a 1.5" to 2" thick steak. I increased the time to 2.25 hours and it turned out perfect.

Neat design and accurate temperature control. It has a small blade inside to circulate the warm water. Easy to install and easy to operate. Very fast to reach the target temperature and holds there. The top screen shows the real-time temperature and the side led shows the countdown timer. When complete, it makes a beeping reminder. I really like this Sous Vide and should buy one earlier.
