This flap is also secured by a Directional Security Snap which prevents accidental release if snagged upon to prevent loss. The pocket is so tight that it is impossible to put coins or any other object inside. In fact, there is no pocket at all, it is merely two slabs of leather that are too thick to stretch or soften enough for this product to be used as intended.

Heavy duty. Zipper works good. Getting coins out is a bit tedious. I do like the way it snaps on and off a belt. It would be perfect if the zipper was on the edge instead of the middle

I love the Crazy Horse color of my new Hot Tamale coin purse. Durable brass YKK zipper, I have had up to about 7 bucks worth of quarters in it, it snaps on the belt or when it unsnaps it is easy to retrieve from the pocket due to it's length. I love this thing and the fact you can whack a mugger with it is just a great bonus.

The leather is nice and hard for spanking a child and it has nice color sections and that is the only nice thing about this product.

It was too small I could hardly fit any coins in it and the zipper constantly keep getting stuck

This is a great product hands down. I've owned all manner of impact weapons, It's my profession and I've used them "professionally". I was able to get an entire roll of quarters in it straight out of the package and I stuffed some $2 Euro coins in there (they're bigger and heavier than quarters) and I'm still able to snap it closed. Not sure what other reviews are talking about. Sounds like they should just carry paper money. If you're not careful, you can actually make it too heavy. It depends on how you're going to use it. The only thing is it's "fat" when loaded. It's still easier to conceal than some of my other "things". Might buy another color too.

As to be expected the workmanship is perfect. Size wise the Tamale isn't too big that it gets in the way or looks out of place on a belt line. When flying around the country I travel with the Tamale and fill it with my x2 daily carry challenge coins and whatever loose change I have on me. It's a sharp looking coin purse but a discrete pain compliance tool if needed.
