Impossible to mount

This seemed like a great product and I did like it until I tried to install this on my bike. The hole for the screw that is holding it together is tiny. I have tried a dozen different screw drivers and none of them fit. So now I can't even get the thing out of the packaging because I apparently need a special tool to use it.
