Really Nice Quality Gaming Recliner!
by MommyH (5 out of 5 stars)
April 17, 2019

I bought this chair for my teenage son. It was easy to assemble with step by step instructions. We had it complete in about 20 minutes. All hardware was included and nicely packaged with the tools required for assembly. The frame is all metal and appears to be high quality and sturdy. The fabric is also nice and heavy. He used it for the first time last night and absolutely loved it. He said it was really comfortable. He made such a big deal about how much he loved it that his older brother wanted one too! We have another on the way!

Headrest pillow too low for over 6 foot person
by Sam Boonsakul (4 out of 5 stars)
May 28, 2019

Just assembled it and sat down. I bought mine to recline and watch movies. It should be good for that. I'm happy, but I'm gonna have to tweak a couple things and have a couple criticisms.

Pros:
- Very comfortable
- Assembly was easy
- It has a lever for the leg rest. Many chairs require you to push your calves down, making it hard to get up.
- The recline can be set to many comfortable positions, not just "reclined or not reclined".
- It looks great. If you get a black one it actually looks appropriate in your living room as a theater chair.
- This is basically a whole new style of chair. As far as I know nobody else has anything like it... and it WILL be copied.

Cons:
- For me, the big one: For my height, the headrest pillow seems to be designed more as a "neck support". The back of my head is at the top of the chair which is fine, but the pillow can't go higher than my lower neck. Maybe that's the intended purpose, but it's not good when you're trying to recline and watch a screen, which is the whole reason you'd buy this chair. Going without the pillow isn't an option, but when it's in the natural position I have to look down my nose to watch movies, causing eyestrain. If the headrest goes behind my head it's much better but there's no way to hold it in place. Problem is, it's secured to the chair with stretching straps through the two holes, and those holes just aren't high enough. (And let's face it, the reason those holes are there is so that it looks like a racing seat, where those holes would be seat belt straps for a 4-point harness.) SO HERE'S MY SOLUTION: I'll go to the fabric store and get a little "extension" for the elastic strap. Hopefully I can get it in black. The strap will then go around the top of the chair, not through the holes. I'm 6'1", but even if I was 5'11" or maybe 5'10" I'd still have this issue. (Fun fact, 14% of U.S. men are over 6 feet tall.) This would be more fitting for me if the pillow could alternatively be supported with two straps which drop over the back, adjustable with velcro or snaps.
- I was surprised that the knob on the leg rest lever is made of black painted wood, not plastic. Not a problem, but it popped right off. I'm going to use some epoxy to keep it on. It would probably stay on if I just tapped it on with a mallet, but I'll do it anyway.
- The quality is decent, but it won't last 15+ years like a La-Z-Boy recliner. 2 years? Probably. 4 years? I think so. 6 years? Probably not. The frame is steel tubes, but not thick steel.
- The leg rest mechanism gets a little "crunchy" as it moves to full extension. Upon inspection I see some flaws in the metal which will wear smooth over time so that's not a concern.
- As others have noted, the vinyl (which is decent quality) will cause you to sweat in it. I wish they had one with fabric, at least on the seating surfaces. On the plus side this will be easy to clean.

Well worth the money. You get what you pay for
by MommyH (5 out of 5 stars)

I LOVE this chair. The only thing that could possibly make it better is a built in toilet. Lol all jokes aside, was very reluctant to pay 300 for a chair, but wow am I glad I did. Unparalleled comfort. I can sit in this thing and game all night, and my back never gets stiff or sore at all. The only suggestion I would make is to also get yourself a comfy lumbar pillow to go along with it. Also, best to let it air out in a large room for awhile as the fumes are a little intense the first day or 2. Other than that, I highly recommend it.

Great but not for desk set up

Height doesn't adjust but very comfy. If you're going to use this for desk setup use, it won't work. The angle is too far leaned back but besides that, great product

terrible chair, find something else
by Paul J. Martin (1 out of 5 stars)
July 20, 2019

Most of the lower stars review are pretty accurate about the chair. The material is terrible, you can feel the frame through the padding(?), and the worst part of it all is that the screw for my arm rest didn't line up. Not multiple screws, just one screw. After fiddling around with it for a good hour i decided it was better to not force the screw in cause it felt like it was stripping. The handle for the foot rest is loud like terribly loud. You'll hear a good clunk when you're putting it up and a clank trying to get it down. You have to put a decent amount of pressure into it to get the foot rest to assume normal position. I've put together a large number of chairs but this one by far takes the cake for the worst experience ever. Contacted amazon for a refund. The kicker is i can't put it back into the box to ship it back because the base is fully attached to the seat.

pros
-looks goods
-cup holder?

cons
-spotty craftsmanship
-terrible material
-expensive for what you got

Just don't bother with this one, go find something else. This is the worst chair I've ever gotten.

Gaming chair worth the buy!!
by Amazon Customer (5 out of 5 stars)

Ok I bought this used and have had it for little over a week. it was missing one bolt and one nut however this was not much of a problem. The chair is easy to put together, but you will need some one to help with putting the back and bottom together.. overall I am loving how the chair is and how it feels. My biggest want was the leg rest and it is awesome!!! So far so good!!! I am 6 foot and about 175lbs and I have plenty of room!

Ok I have had the chair for a few months now and I still love it!! Only thing I wish I could do would be able to adjust the height of the chair...other than that it's a A+buy

All Around Great
by Sam Boonsakul (5 out of 5 stars)
July 23, 2019

I ordered two chairs for my farm shop. We are not gamers, yet we use them to relax in the shop when we need a break during a long work day or casually when hanging out. I was skeptical that they would be too oriented for the gaming population, yet my research and reading reviews led me to buy two of them. We are extremely happy we did buy and how the product feels, looks and adds to the shop. We elected the red trim as our shop cabinets have a red/black theme, thus it matches very well. I would highly recommend.

Almost the perfect chair...
by Johnathon luttrell (3 out of 5 stars)
June 19, 2019

This is an overall great chair! However, the fact that it doesn't have any lumbar support at all is a deal breaker.... I bought this chair with the intention of it being a gaming chair, but it isn't worth it if after two days of approximately 3 hour game sessions each day that my lower back starts to hurt. It's minor, but it has an impact. Otherwise, everything else about the chair is awesome. I was almost tempted to keep it, but I have ultimately decided to return it.

Also, the leather feels kind of cheap. If you're going to spend $300, get something that checks every box.

ULTIMATE LAZYBOY GAMING CHAIR IN ONE. 10/10
by Amazon Customer (5 out of 5 stars)
August 19, 2019

I've been waiting to leave a detailed review so I can see exactly the pros and cons of this.

I'm a tiny chick, had no help putting this together, and I had no idea what I was doing.

Let me tell you... It was WAY easier than I thought. It took me an hour, but I also had limited space and crummy lighting to see.

But I did it all by myself! After I put it together, got it in my small as heck room, I sat in it.

I could not believe what a lottery I had won. This was equivalent to a lazy boy gaming chair. I can curl up in it, it supports my neck perfectly, and it reclines super easily. The way the arm rests are padded right down to the cushion is one of my favorite things, as regular gaming chairs aren't as... Well, couch feeling. This is ultimately the best of both worlds, recliner, and gaming chair in one. I wasn't sure about spending $300 on a gaming chair, but it's one of the best investments I've ever made. I only regret not buying this WAAAY sooner.

Oh, there aren't any cons.
