Top notch intricate coloring book, a MUST HAVE!by Arkay A. (5 out of 5 stars)

It just came in the mail and already I'm extremely excited to sit down and color this book. Here's the nitty gritty.
There are six pages that are repeated from Between the Lines: An Expert Level Coloring Book. A few have minor design changes, but over 90% of the page is the same in some of these repeated pages.
Quality control issues from the last book have been almost completely resolved. Lines are crisp and defined. There are a few pages in which the black lines fade a bit-it looks like inconsistent printing, but I suppose that could "possibly" be on purpose.
The new pages are greatly varied, some naturescapes, some mechanical, others truly 'random' and creative...what we have come to expect from Peter Deligdisch. This book is well suited to gel pens, or well sharpened colored pencils. I keep a few very thin black pens, like Sakura Pigma Micron 0.1, to trace over lines that need it, so my finished page is colored, crisp, and neat.
Crazy and wild designs for lots of coloring fun

Attached is my silent and quick flip through video of the entire book of designs. I hope it is of assistance to you.
"Color Me Crazy" is my first adult color book by Peter Deligdisch. After another reviewer stated that the designs were on both sides of the page, I was happy and surprised to see that my book came with designs printed on only one side. The quality of the paper is good (though not a heavy weight) and it is a bright white. The only thing lacking is perforated edges - I wish more companies did this but it doesn't look like it would be too difficult to remove the pages from the glued edge binding.
There are 44 designs in this color book. They are all quite wild and imaginative. There are a couple which have a sort of faded out look to the right hand side of the page. I don't know if that is intentionally part of the design or if the print quality went askew with those few designs. Depending on how I color those pages, I may re-inforce the faded look or remove it by adding more color to the outlines.
While all of the designs appear to have a sort of "doodle" quality to them (if you can doodle this intricately and creatively - which I cannot), they are done in a variety of different styles. I really like this as it gives me a choice of styles depending on my mood on a particular day. The designs in the book appeal to both my husband to and to me - which is not always true with various adult coloring books. Due to the intricacies of the various designs, I will certainly keep my magnifying lamp handy while I am working on this book.
As I would expect from the thinness of the paper in the book, all of my gel pens and markers bleed through. I will use freezer paper in between the sheets (if I am keeping it in the book) or under the page if I remove it from the book. I find that it works well for me. You can also put multiple sheets of heavy stock paper in between if you don't have freezer paper handy (it is sold at most grocery stores and is fairly inexpensive and can be reused.)
The Best Most Detail Coloring Book

This is my favorite adult coloring book. It might not be for everyone, but for detail and tedious oriented person like me, coloring complicated patterns has calming and relaxing feeling.
Great drawings, not the greatest paper

Overall the drawings are fun and crisp, and I appreciate the pages not being double sided (some reviews here say they are, but in mine all are one sided, so maybe they're referring to a previous book of us).
I don't like the paper very much though, it seems like just normal cheap paper and my Staedtler pens don't run smoothly on them, the paper starts to gunk away a bit. Gel pens are a bit better and colored pencils (if kept real sharp to go in the thin lines!) work best.

So much fun!
Wish it had more full page designs

Based off of the cover, I had expected this images to be full page designs. Unfortunately, that is not the case. There are many sheets that have the design in the center and then a ton of white space around the edges, which I found disappointing. The pages that are full, however, are super intricate and detailed. Guaranteed to give me HOURS of entertain on just one sheet.
For the sheets that are only partially designed, there are some pretty nice one. But there are a few designs that I found lacking, such as the picture that looks like long vines with a bunch of leaves around it. It looks more like a half completed sketch, rather than something that should be in this book. It doesn't really seem to fit the rest of the images in this coloring book.
The paper feels like standard printer paper, so it's a little thinner than I would like for coloring. I keep a cut down piece of poster board between sheets to keep the ink from bleeding to other pages.
My opinions of this coloring book are my own, and if it changes I will update my review accordingly.

GET THIS BOOK and color it. Make copies first!

You're going to want to make copies of every image and not use up the ones in the book. Peter Draws, as he's known on YouTube, is my favorite person to watch doodle/draw/whatever magic he does. His designs are intensely detailed and they always make perfect sense even when they're supposedly just random. I've tried to copy his style to learn how, so I could develop my own style, but I have way too much fun just coloring in his designs. Even with one plain graphite pencil, I had an awesome time just shading in each area as lit from a completely different light source from all the rest ... it still made sense. I don't know how he does it. A MUST for adult coloring communities!
love these!

This coloring book is amazing!
First off, if you don't already know, this book is drawn by Peter Deligdisch, he goes by PeterDraws on youtube! His channel is full of inspiration, and he talks about overcoming artist block! I highly recommend you check out his channel, he has a very soothing voice and is very entertaining to watch as he draws!
Back to the book, this book is filled to the brim with very intricate, beautiful and abstract designs! The one thing you will need is fine liner marks to get into the very tiny drawn areas. I have started coloring a few of the designs and it is taking quite a while to finish them (this isn't a bad thing!) and I enjoy every minute of the coloring process.
A lot of the designs give off somewhat of a steam punk vibe, which I love!
This coloring book is really great for anxiety and stress in general! Come home after a long day of work? Just grab this book and your markers, pens, or colored pencils of choice and color your worries away! :)

The doodles are crazy intricate and are even more beautiful when colored. Love all of his work. It is not meant for the casual colorer, well I guess it is meant for anyone with a passion for 'out of the box' or out of the lines.
