The pictures in this book are really awesome! I ended up cutting out some of the parks we've been to with an exacto knife and framing them in 9x12 frames in my son's nursery. They're a great addition to the gallery wall, and we still have a coffee book to put out.
they put a sticker on the back of this beautiful book!!

I wanted to get this review up quickly since there isn't any.
this book is beautifully illustrated and the info is nice. lots and lots to look at and read.
it's a great "coffee table book".
this book would get 5 stars, but the seller for some reason put a sticker on the back of the book that I couldn't completely peel off. what on earth!? this is a beautiful hard cover book meant to be like a conversation piece. I've included a pic of the back of the book that shows all the parks it features, as well as the remains of the stupid sticker.
the book itself is 5 stars. the sticker from the seller gets -1 star.
Unfortunately has bad binding

Just recieved this today. Nice book, bad binding. I was going to let my kids flip through it to see where they wanted to go but now I'm worried it will just completely fall apart.
Love the artwork and short, concise descriptions of the natural parks

I absolutely loved this book and its illustrations. We framed the national parks we've been to on a whole wall, and only wish some of the illustrations weren't back-to-back - it makes it hard to choose which ones to frame! This book really highlights just how much natural beauty the US has to offer in an artistic way.

This is a phenomenal book, but note that this is the Paperback version, so it is smaller, thinner, and less coffee-table-worthy than its counterpart. The Hard Cover version will give you a much better experience and overall I believe it is definitely worth the price difference.
Severely lacking in photos and detail.

It's ok. It's a good book if you want to see some neat artwork about each park. What it is severely lacking in, is pictures. Each park has 1 - 3 pictures in it. A couple have a bit more. 1 - 3 pictures is not nearly enough to grasp the beauty of these parks or even to get an idea of what these parks contain. They also don't give much detail on the parks, such as their size. They give a brief history, some artwork and a couple photos. The book feels like it was rushed together to me. I probably wouldn't pay more than $15 for it. I'll keep it for the artwork, but i do wish that i would have explored other options before i bought it. I included a photo of one of the parks. This page is the average amount of information you get on each park.

So beautifully done. The illustrations of each National Park poster and the dialogue about each park is fantastic. My family plans to visit each park for our family vacations and this is a great resource to get us started
Beautiful, retro style paintings of the US National Parks

I started noticing these postcards on my last trip out west. They're beautiful, retro style paintings. There is at least one painting for each Naional Park. The book is in a large format, 1 postcard per page, so you can clearly see the pictures. You can also buy a set of the 59, regular sized postcards.
A beautiful and informative well done book! Great for self or gift.

I purchased this for my son in law for Christmas. He and his wife have visited many of the N national Parks, especially out wet, where most of them are, and despite taking beautiful photos of their own, he requested this as a keepsake coffee table type book. Beside photographs, they are prints of nostalgic signs, interesting facts plus much much more. A great read and a must if you HAVE NOT been to any of the parks, for this book is comprehensive, colorful and will make you feel like you have gone, and/or really want to put many of these destinations on your "bucket list".
This is such a beautiful book celebrating our country's national parks

This is such a beautiful book celebrating our country's national parks. The author and his design team did a wonderful job with this. All of my friends who have looked at it while visiting ended up purchasing their own for their own library. The kids love it too.
The book is great! However

The book is great! However, Amazon slapped a "big old" sticker on the back of the book that was very unfortunate. Not attractive if you are using it for a gift or "Coffee Table" book!
