Renewing old appreciation for pop-up booksby Brooke G. (5 out of 5 stars)

I read a review of this book in either October or November's Esquire - I didn't even know they MADE pop-ups for adults! After reading the hilarious little tongue-in-cheek descriptions included I knew this book would make a wonderful birthday present for my best friend, a man who really DOES have everything. Since I love books that look to be children's but with adult content, I knew I had to have one for myself, too. This book is so wonderfully crafted with so much attention to detail that I found it a wonderful addition to my collection, and it's really funny as well. If you enjoy books like "Bitter With Baggage Seeks Same" or "Creepy Susie," chances are you will enjoy this one, too. By the way, he loved it!
Pop-Up Book gets an A minus rating from the Lenster

This book is a coffee table gem! It is an outstanding bithday gift for those folks you know who are raunchy and quirky and middle-aged. Extremely clever. Expensive but worth every penny. I loved the O.J. Simpson car chase the best. The only thing I don't like about it is the cover. Michael Jackson looks horrifyingly, frighteningly creepy, which he probably does in real life, too, nevertheless, I'd rather they had put Hugh Grant or Paris Hilton on there, and left Michael off or made him much smaller than the other cover shots. But the book is a wonderful conversation piece. Fun for the whole family (but best to keep out of the hands of small children for a number of reasons).
Funny, creative, interesting, and worth it

This book made me laugh. The many crazy situations that celebrities find themselves in, has been elevated creatively into a pop up. It keeps you entertained.
This is too funny

This is a book of hilarious caricatures that will make you laugh out loud, if you have a sense of humor, that is. There are not many fun books for adults so I treasure this all that much more. I think the Tom Cruise addition is too funny for words and Kate Moss and OJ's pages just take it over the top. I got this over the holidays but bought another as a "Get Well" gift. There is nothing that cures like laughter and this will have you rolling on the floor. If you're not into celebrity gossip, this is not for you. If however you enjoy taking a peek at the lives of the rich and infamous, get yourself a copy and have at it. Too, too funny.

This is an awesome pop-up book. I got this for a friend for christmas and have looked at it myself many times. The paper-work is really amazing, especially the one with kate moss doing lines. This would be a great gift for any pop culture fanatic, or would make a great coffee table book. Your guaranteed to have people laughing and talking when they see this book. Do yourself a favor and pick it up. I know, I thought to myself, I'm 25, why would I want a pop-up book, but this one is an exception and I've found many other "adult" pop-up books that are also great!
Silly, funny, great moving book action.

I bought this book on a whim while browsing Amazon. What a hoot! The semi-caricatures of the celebrities alone are worth owning it. The pop-ups and moving actions are great and quite varied. The Janet/Justin "wardrobe malfunction" is hysterical but so is the O.J. chase, the King of pop's baby dangle and the Tom's sofa jump. This is a must have for any pop-up book collector.

I gave this book as a Christmas gift to a friend who loves celebrity gossip. I was disappointed when it arrived only because it was sealed so I couldn't "sneak a peek". I had to wait until I gave it. Once she cracked it open, we all laughed so hard my side was hurting. Definitely a hilarious book. Not much content, but great for fond memories of "Celebrities Gone Wild"!
Cute book but mainly a dust collector

This is one of those books you should check out at Barnes and Noble or Borders. If I could go back I wouldn't have purchased this but it did amuse me. A great little snap shot of pop culture in the late 90's and early 2000's
