Product Description
"The authoritative volume on how to cook with cannabis." ―Michael RuhlmanHerb: Mastering the Art of Cooking with Cannabis offers over 200 pages of gorgeously illustrated recipes that elevate the art and science of cooking with cannabis. Chefs Melissa Parks and Laurie Wolf have developed recipes that specifically complement and downplay the taste of the herb so that each appetizer, entrée, and dessert will be enjoyed to the fullest. No special culinary equipment is needed; home cooks can simply prepare an “extraction”―an infusion of cannabis into a medium such as oil or butter―then proceed as normal with the recipe.
Seasoned chefs and cooking novices alike will revel in creating homemade cannabis-infused treats with these delicious, reliable recipes. Discover expert tips on creating consistent and potent canna-butter, canna-oil, and canna-olive oil. Gain a better understanding of dosing levels and popular marijuana strains. Enjoy the art of at-home cuisine in an entirely new way with the first cookbook to treat the humble cannabis herb as the unique culinary ingredient that it is.

Nothing specialby kk02076 (2 out of 5 stars)

They describe how to make canna oil and canna butter and the rest of the book contains recipes that use canna butter or oil. AKA you could substitute the canna oil or butter in basically any recipe that calls for oil or butter. I thought it would be more unique.
Great scientific breakdown, use of the oils/fats was a little unispired

As a chef I was hoping for more awe-inspiring dishes however it mostly consisted of using the infused oils/fats as cooking oil which left me a little unimpressed as I was hoping to see how they used the flavor to pair with food for something new but felt shorted. I will say the breakdown of the chemical/scientific processes for infusing the fats was very well done and explained very thoroughly the compounds and temperatures.

Very pretty book, really good detailed recipes, and I love love love supporting the Cannabis freedom movement. Buy this book and tell everyone you did :) The world needs to know that Cannabis is a harmless medicinal herb and provides so much benefit to so many people. Still completely illegal in KY, cops breaking down doors and stealing people's stuff. That's gotta change, people. Speak out!

I would LOVE to read this book but the Kindle version is illegible and utterly useless. Don't sell a Kindle version if it's going to be too small for the screen with no way to enlarge! Not cool! I want my money back!

Don't buy the Kindle version! Ditto on the previous reviewers' take on it. Not cool!
But when I finally got the text big enough to kinda-sorta read the text, the read the text, the recipes seemed to be excellent. And the photos are outstanding in both versions.
I do want my money back from the Kindle version. then I can buy the paperback version.

I ordered the Kindle version of this book, and the type is very tiny and not adjustable, so I can barely read it. I recommend either a paperback or hardcover version. Unfortunately I cannot comment on the content, since I can't get through reading the first few pages.

I agree with other disappointed Kindle purchasers. This is unreadable in the Kindle format even with readers. Like others I am disappointed as well and would recommend seller issue credit toward book purchase
