Works great, even better with an additional item (not included) to catch the capsby A Runnio (5 out of 5 stars)

Very cool product, makes opening bottles effortless. The only issue I ran into was that the caps would just fall on the floor and I had to pick it up. To solve this problem I purchased "Interdesign Magnetic Pencil Cup" from Amazon, which catches the caps and matches the design of the bottle opener. Purchased together the two make up a rather pricey but effective and cool bottle-opening system.
As for bottles spraying or spilling when opened, I initially had this issue but it was because I was hesitating and opening the bottle too slowly. Just insert the bottle at an angle so the cap catches on the opener, then push it straight down in one smooth motion. I can successfully do this without spilling every time.
SUCK is the right name.

the design of the opener is completely flawed.
(1) the actual opener is at an angle in which you are holding your bottle level to the floor. when it opens, liquid spills from the bottle. the angle is all wrong. makes a mess every time.
(2) the flat magnetic surface that is supposed to catch the bottle cap, IS ABOVE THE OPENER. No magic in the world can make that work.
This was a nice idea just very poorly executed.
WORKS GREAT

I think people might be slow on how to use this. They are clearly going too fast. You go in two steps. Do an initial air release by just barely breaching the cap. Then finish the stroke. Opened hundreds of all sorts of highly carbonated drinks and never spilled a single drop.

It is handy to have on the fridge.
It is a bit difficult to get used to -- have to tip the bottle almost past horizontal to grasp the cap
but it works well other than sometimes initially sloshing some beer
Handy dandy bottle opener - we love it.

This was a Christmas gift for the husband. It works well - the magnets hold it securely to the fridge. The shape of the opener works well. Our trash can actually sits next to the fridge, so we just pop the lid and it falls right in. The husband says twist tops don't work - for some reason they spill (for those sneaky beers that have twist tops, but you forget and use the opener anyway). I gave it 4 stars because ours came with an imperfection in the metal - a rough line down the whole piece. It wasn't worth the hassle of sending it back since it works well enough. My only suggestion to improve - it might be possible to design one with a more powerful magnet that was smaller, as this does take up a bit of fridge real estate. All in all though, we are pleased and for $15, we're happy customers.
Hubby loves it!

I bought this for my husband's birthday. He was very sceptical that it would work, but now he uses it almost every time. I will say that you will need to find a flat part on your fridge. My fridge is slightly curved, so it had to be put on the side.
Do not buy this

This was so disappointing. Looked great but the angle that the opener is at causes the beer too foam up and explode everywhere. Also the magnetic outside to catch the bottle openers is on top of where you open the beer so it doesn't actually catch the bottle caps after you open it.
Works Great!

Strong magnet and easy to clean. Make sure you let the bottle cap rest firmly against the lip of the opener before wrenching on the bottle. Doing it impatiently will result in an erupting bottle and a very bad time.
It works

Have it mounted to the side of my beer fridge. I got a "Design Ideas Mesh Magnet, Silver Medium" to mount under it to catch the caps. It does as advertised, opens beer, sticks to the fridge securely and looks nice.
Never wonder where that cap opener is again

Many beers have been violated using this device. Good job. Just make sure to hold it with one hand or it might fly off the fridge or whatever it's magnet is stuck onto. It also covers a scratch i made on the faux metallic front of my mini fridge, so TWO FOR ONE Beer-chas!
