Product Description

"Revolutionary Cooling Systems' Cooper Cooler quickly chills room temperature beverages for a cold, refreshing drink. Just pour ice and water into the Cooper Cooler, select the container setting, and the cooler does the rest. A patented process chills by rotating beverages while simultaneously spraying them with ice water. The appliance will cool a 12 ounce beverage can from 77 degrees to 43 degrees in about 1 minute. An ""extra"" chill setting chills beverages to 34 degrees. The cooling process will not effect a drink's taste, composition, or cause carbonated beverages to fizz and explode upon opening. The Cooper Cooker is great for parties, road trips, dorm rooms, and office break rooms. - Dimensions: 8.0 IN x 15.9 IN x 10.8 IN "

Day 1, went to show my friend how awesome it is at chilling room temp or warm beverages. The can light lit as soon as I plugged it in, and none of the buttons respond.

I was stoked for this and love how well it worked while it did... but I'm less than a day in and it broke. Very upset.

Quieter than expected, probably because of the short life span

I bought this Cooper Cooler recently and was extremely pleased with its performance. I'd read reviews saying this machine isn't quiet, it makes a racket... I was prepared to let it do it's thing in the garage if necessary. It wasn't necessary. The cooler doesn't throw the ice around, which I'd thought would be the case; it only spins the bottle or can and that was much quieter than I'd imagined.

The only inconsistency between the machine and the instruction booklet I found was my cooler doesn't have markings on the inside for the ice and water levels as is indicated in the instructions. The instructions tell you how much ice and water to add, though, so that's not a problem.

The wine was chilled to drinking temperature, and I am very happy with my purchase!
***Update: Since the date of my review, I have been through three of these things in a two-year period and finally gave up. As nice as they are to chill a bottle once in awhile, they don't stand up to the number of bottles I was going through for awhile there. I mean, using it once a day shouldn't be a problem; I even drained the water like they recommended after I'd used it, and didn't store it wet. All three of the buggers shorted out on me. Ever smell something shorting out? Pee-eww!

I contacted the company and they don't sell the replacement parts to fix the machine. They want you to buy a whole new one. So I did. Twice.

No more. Now I'll put my wine in the fridge the night before, if I see a bad day coming, or toss one in the freezer and set the timer for an hour and fifteen minutes. The timer is necessary. Don't ask me how I know.

For the reason that they fry, I've changed my rating from 5 stars to 3... and because the company's customer service wasn't able to solve my problem without the purchase of an additional machine (each time), I take another star, leaving them with two measly stars left. I feel that is more than generous since they don't last.

Don't waste your money

This is my second one and both lasted less than 2 yrs. Of course the warranty is only for a year but expect it to fail shortly after the warranty runs out. Don't waste your money!

Really Great and Cost Effective!
by Diego (4 out of 5 stars)

Its really cost effective and doesnt take up much time, I use the extra chill mode more because of personal preference which takes up to 3 minutes, not much in comparison to a freezer which would take 10x times longer. Only thing I disliked was the fact it leaked from the lid a little when in use from the splashing. I believe some sort of rubber gasket would solve this issue if it were to be updated.

This is s very useful kitchen tool for chilling wine in 3 minutes for most wines. They provide you a time chart for chilling beverages. I purchased this as a gift for dear friends but I also bought one earlier, great idea Cooper Cooler. It works quite well. It great when company drops by and you have no cold wine available but can be within 3 min.

Great for lazy people who forget to stick their cans in the fridge.

My wife drinks an occasional soda here and there and as such we don't stick sodas in the fridge to take up space. She also has a tendency to forget to stick it in there overnight. The Cooper Cooler does a great job of turning a lukewarm soda to chilly in a matter of minutes. She likes to put it on the bottle setting instead of the can setting so that it comes out extra cold. It is quite loud, but that is to be expected... and quite tolerable for us since we only occasionally use it. The Cooper Cooler is great not only for cans, but plastic bottles and wine bottles too. We would definitely get another if this were to ever break down on us and recommend this to everyone.

Only lasted 16 days!

It only worked for 16 days. The extra spin option stopped working first and then the next day nothing worked. It was nice when it worked. It is not worth the price you pay.

Great product, although noisey

Neat device if you hate watered down drinks from ice. Works very well and quick but the only downside is that it is noisey.

Cools off but not ice cold
by Minpins Rule (3 out of 5 stars)

Easy to use. Max and min lines are not visible, doing a best guess. It does cool a 12 oz can. Its not super cold and you wont get slush but it does do the job if you have a warm can and want it cool in a few minutes.

It does work.

My husband wanted this. I didn't have high hopes because I didn't see the point of it - for him. When he calls to say he's on his way home I put a beer or two in the freezer of our side by side so it will be cold and ready to drink. As it turns out he really doesn't use it - for that very reason.

That said; I can testify to what he has said and I've heard. First, its a little loud. No so loud that it is hurtful but enough that you might want to hold off a conversation until you are done with it.

It definitely gets the beer to a frostiness that my husband enjoys so he is happy with the fact that it performs as advertised.

I can see how if you were out in a workshop, and you wanted to take some beers with you it would be a handy thing to have to cool your beer BUT, you do have to have access to ice, so a cooler with ice would also be needed.

I could also see it being useful if you have an unexpected visitor and needed to cool some beer fast - it would be great.
