Though I don't want robots to take over the whole world, I wouldn't mind if they took over the parts that are inconvenient for me. Such as cleaning up my messes. The Mini Robot Vacuum, a desktop-sized personal Rosie... [Read more]Top Reviews

This is super cute, well-painted but really just a gimmick. It takes batteries, but don't expect it to do "real" vacuuming... even on your desk.
Pritty handy for small jobs..

I just love this guy.... After dinner he just eats up all the crumbs. and my husbands desk also. You can even use it on the floor for touch-ups. It wont pick-up pop corn just crumbs.. only works on smooth services..For the price, its worth a teaies little job that no one cares to do. !!!

Gave it to my dad as a bit of a gag gift (he's a bit messy). He keeps it at his desk at work. Funny little guy and works for minor cleanup but it obviously doesn't compare to a regular vacuum.
It does it's job and it's very cute

I actually bought this for my boyfriend because he'd make sandwiches and leave crumbs all over the counter. I couldn't, for the life of me, get him to clean up the crumbs afterwards, so in comes the Robo Vacuum. He forgets to use it sometimes, but when he does, it's the most adorable thing. I hear him fussing in the kitchen and then "Whhrrrrrrrr..." I peek around the corner and he's using the robot to suck up the crumbs, its arms positioned in a charge-stance. It's not going to clean your counters to a spotless shine, but it gets the job done. If you have a tendency to drop a lot of crumbs on a daily basis, you most likely will have to empty it out more often. We've only emptied ours out a couple times so far, but I also will go in and wipe off the counters pretty often, seeing as the Robo Vacuum doesn't disinfect. I say it was worth the buy, if not just for a conversation starter for guests.

This piece of junk fell apart within minutes. Cute, great concept, but lousy in execution.
Save your money and skip this

In order for this to vacuum you have to push it. It doesn't run on its own. I'm assuming this because I never got it work; I just read it on the pamphlet inside. I spent over an hour trying to get the battery compartment open before I finally gave up. I've never had so much trouble trying to get one open. All in all, a huge waste of my money and time.
Very cool vacuum

It was a breeze to put together and start using. Picked up every crumb and is fun to use. Works very well and doesn't miss a crumb. I plan on buying several more as gifts.
Try it as soon as you get it!

Ordered two fo these as Christmas gifts. One did not work but because we did not open them and actually try them until Christmas we are now out of the return window and stuck with a broken toy.
