Not as good as it used to be.by Mark G (3 out of 5 stars)

FYI, the formula for Working Hands has changed. I opened the new one that arrived recently and immediately noticed a difference in the texture and smell of the hand cream. The newer version is greasier than the old and has a peppermint like aroma. I have also noticed that I need to use this far more frequently than the previous version.
The empty container lists the ingredients in the old version and the full container is the current version.

Do you want to know how a lumberjack's hands feel after he's ran his fingers through an angel's hair? USE THIS AND WONDER NO MORE.
I've been using this stuff for a few weeks, and it's helped my hands out drastically. I work with weapons and with my hands regularly, and this is the first hand cream that I've used that I like. I'll be buying it again. I've gotten compliments about how soft my hands are from men and women, through handshakes of course (a lot of hand shaking at work).
Pros
- Doesn't make your hands greasy
- Makes hands very slightly tacky
- Helped cracked hands, specifically index fingers and thumbs
- Makes hands feel soft, but still manly
Cons
- None at this time

After a 150 reviews I doubt that anyone will read this review. I hope people do. I am writing this review very carefully with
full sincerity. Every winter my fingers and knuckles crack and bleed. I wash my hands a lot and they become in rough
and painful shape in winter. I have tried everything on the market to heal my hands. I noticed that over a 100 people gave
5 star reviews on this product. Well, over a hundred people, can't be wrong.
I received this hand cream yesterday and when I put it on my hands, I could tell right then and there, this was something
well beyond all of everything on the market that I have tried. Believe me or not, This stuff started working immediately.
Greasy, no it is not greasy none what so ever. It seems that it absorbed into my hands quickly and was smooth as silk.
I filled all the cuts and cracks on my hands with this cream, today they are almost healed. It doesn't take very much, I
ordered 2 cans.
If you have a problem of this nature with your hands, order some now. I don't understand how this cream worked so fast,
but it did. There is more than you think in these 3.4 oz cans as I said a little goes a long way. I can't think of anything else
to tell you. I do believe that this product is the best hand cream that could be made on earth. If you read this review then
read the other 100 or so reviews...............

I have just ordered three more cans of this amazing hand cream. I gave one can to my daughter that has the same painful
hand roughness as I do. If this wasn't the hand cream that all the others and myself, says that it is, I surely would
not order more......

I have suffered with extremely dry skin on my right hand with severe cracking of the skin. I've tried different lotions and have visited 3 different Dermatologists hoping that somebody could help. I've used prescription hand creams and nothing worked. The reviews for this cream were amazing and I thought, what's the worse that can happen?...cream is amazing. I've included pix of my hand the day after I ordered this and today. I've been using this for 3 weeks.
Psoriasis/Eczema relief for me
by SoulRaker (5 out of 5 stars)

I have a skin condition (related or eczema or psoriasis) on my hands that causes blisters, dryness, and cracking, especially during the winter. I used to scald my hands with hot water to get relief from the itching. I also used to keep band-aids and Neosporin with me wherever I went to cover the bleeding cracks. The only things that have brought my condition under control are 1. Refrain from all caffeine and alcohol 2. Limit spicy food intake 3. Use O'Keeffe's after showering or washing my hands. It took about 30 years for me to realize these things and I'm glad I finally am able to manage my skin condition. O'Keefe's has a protective barrier and works its way deep into the tissue to get at those thick calloused areas on my knuckles. I keep O'Keefe's with me where ever I go and it's provided me with relief far better than anything else I've tried over or under the counter.
Miracle product! A++++

Does this product need another five star review? Nope. But I had to. This is truly a miracle product!! I have the driest skin in the winter. To the point I will look down at my hands to notice they are bleeding from all the various cracks. This product made a major difference after just one using! Here I am weeks later and my hands have no cracks, look younger and are no longer red. Can O'Keefe's fix potholes too!?!
This solution is BRILLIANT.

WORKS SOOOO WELL!!!!! After just a few applications your hands (and elbows too) will no longer be dry at all! For those reviewers complaining about a 'sticky' feeling or a 'stinging' sensation - PULLEASSE read the darn disclaimer on the tub! Yes, it might be sticky IF you add too much!! Who wants a silky smooth and thin cream that you have to re-apply every 15 minutes?? The 'stinging' is the medicine working and un-cracking your cracked hands!!! Ever heard of Vaseline? Vicks Vap-O-Rub?? These things also have the 'medicine' that tingles.
This solution is BRILLIANT.
The cracks were like small cuts and could become extremely painful

I have been using this product for a couple of years now. Several years ago I started have problems with the tips of my fingers and other areas on my hands drying and cracking. The cracks were like small cuts and could become extremely painful. Tried several creams from doctors, and while they helped, you could only use them for short periods. As soon as I stopped, cracking returned. I would often have to wear fingertip bandaids in order to be able to work at all. Saw an ad for this late one night and decided anything was worth a try. So glad that I did. Ever since I began using this the cracking has stopped almost completely. Occasionally I forget to put it on for a short time and the problem returns, but as soon as I start to use the O'Keeffe's cream again, consistently, they disappear. There can be a slight greasy feeling for a short while after applying, but that is a small price to pay for the relief it has provided. I just hope they never stop making it. It works where nothing else did.
Weird texture at first, but miracle worker on dry fingernails/knuckles
by Allen (5 out of 5 stars)

I don't know what's in this stuff but it's a miracle worker and will probably last me a long time because very little goes a long way!! I've forever had really dry skin around my fingernails and cuticles. It's just always been like that. No lotions ever really got rid of the severe dryness. But putting just a tiny bit around my fingernails every night before bed has cured that dryness completely. It's crazy! I actually have normal looking nails now. It's a bit of a greasy/lardy feeling when you put it on (much thicker than normal lotions kinda like Crisco texture, which sounds terrible), but it dries pretty quickly and it doesn't stay greasy/lardy. You don't put a glob and rub it in like normal lotion, you just take little bits with your finger and rub it in wherever there is hardcore dryness--kinda like spot-treating. And it doesn't smell like anything which I like--it's not super fragrant in either a good or bad way. It's also great for really dry knuckles which I get during winter because I wash my hands a lot to avoid getting sick. I wouldn't put this on your face as you will probably break out, but great for body parts that don't generally get pimples like hands and feet.
Meh.

I'm an RN- I can easily wash my hands or use an alcohol based hand sanitizer 80-120 times (or more) in a 12 hour shift. Lately my hands have been as dry and rough as sandpaper. Bought this product to try and I'm not impressed. It does not provide the deep moisturizing effect that I'm looking for. This product has a distinct 'silicone' feel so I wasn't surprised to see dimethicone listed as one of the ingredients, (my own fault for not checking beforehand!) Personally I don't care care for the pseudo silky feel. The epidermis (outer layer of skin) is made up of dead skin cells so coating them with a silicone based product does nothing for the dermis (inner layer of skin) because silicone doesn't penetrate the skin. The body uses oil to naturally hydrate the skin, skin gets dry because we are constantly stripping these natural oils out of our skin taking hot showers, using soaps and hand sanitizers, etc. so I will be sticking with a more natural moisturizer because I want to heal my skin from the inside out, not just slap a quick fix on it.
