This product worked great. I saw a Luminol experiment preformed in my chemistry class and decided too look it up and found this neat item. I wanted to get one for my cousins for Christmas they loved it and I ended up getting one for myself has plenty of chemicals in it to do multiple experiments and is tons of fun.

My 11 year old grandson loved it. He was able to do some without help. Two of the experiments were a great success. Two were successful, just not as showy. Two duds, having done many experiments two duds were acceptable. The revealing of blood (we used meat blood) was exceptionally exciting.

I ordered this on a Friday, and got it the following Wednesday.Yay for super-saver shipping!I ordered this along with a jansport backpack, and it came in a huge box.It hade the worlds safest packaging (airpacks),and when i saw the large box,i expected the kit to be a bit large. All of the item came in the small tub shown in the picture(about the size of a pint of ice cream).I ordered this kit for my daughters science fair and she won for the chemistry type theme.I saw this on [...] for $10,but the shipping was $7.50 for that small tub.So i HAD too check amazon.I am happy with my order, and reuse the kit for my younger daughters science fair.

My daughter needed this kit for a science fair project. It was an experiment on how it changes with different temperatures. It worked out pretty nicely.

SCIENCE!

I ordered this kit to encourage my 8-year-old daughter's nascent interest in science, and she found it totally captivating. It isn't one of those mediocre "kitchen science" kits that include baking soda and vinegar (yawn). Instead, the small container holds vials containing chemicals with names you might need to practice to pronounce correctly. And the included booklet not only provides clear instructions for several experiments with dramatic results (the bleach light being my personal favorite), but it explains, in a remarkably sophisticated yet fairly accessible way, *why* these experiments work. My daughter ended up liking the experiments so much that she used them as the basis for her science expo project on fireflies and bioluminescence. She was able to create and explain chemiluminescence herself. Great stuff.

My students love this kit. It worked very well and demonstrated the reactions easily. The documentation included was helpful and gave us a good scientific starting point. There were enough chemicals for us. However, they didn't store well, so I was unable to use the kit after a few weeks. That was the only downside for me.
