Not worth the money

Bought this to help with the water overflowing when I make Mac n cheese (which is often). Doesn't work, pot overflowed. I'll try it again but probably just a waste of money.

I am so glad I bought this. When I was boiling my spaghetti, the water did not boil over. I've always use a glass pot watcher and it rattles and makes a heck of a noise but this one did not make that noise. It's very nice and very handy and I intend to buy some as gifts for stocking stuffers. Everybody should have one of these.

Prevented boil overs most of the time ( as long as you don't have it boiling on super high heat.)

That's it really!

Purchased to alert that the milk is about to boil and avoid spill-over.

As the pan gets close to boiling the pot minder starts to rattle, not very loud - so don't expect to hear it from another room, or in a noisy environment...
"Made in Canada" is a BIG plus!

It is very small, about the size of a Silver Dollar coin - I was expecting something bigger - like we had in the old days.

Works as well as other similar ones I've owned. Perhaps buy 2 for when you break it in use or storage. I've broken in both methods, My Fault !

I've not had any boil overs since I got this product. It works great. I actually got two but I will have to order another one as one of my family members accidentally dropped one in the garbage disposal and started the disposal before realizing it.
