Grow Rainbow Blended Carrots from fresh Daucus carota seeds. This rainbow mixture produces an array of colorful carrots. Mixed together you will find varieties of Cosmic Purple, Atomic Red, Solar Yellow, Bambino Orange and Lunar White. Each of the roots will range in lengths from 6 inches, up to 11 inches long and boast a delicious and unique flavoring. Most varieties within this carrot mixture will be ready for harvesting in about 60 to 65 days after first sprouts appear. Carrots, believe it or not, weren't always orange. Some of the most popular picks and more common picks in earlier days came in an array of colors such as Red (Atomic Carrot), Purple (Cosmic Carrot), Yellow (Solar Carrot) & White (Lunar Carrot). But as time carried on, orange became the more popular pick.

I planted seeds in the ground and some in a raised garden bed. All that I put in garden germinated and died soon after. The ones in the raised garden bed germinated and look great. It's all about the soil! I realized too late that the soil in the ground was too hard,even though I mixed some garden soil with it. Not a good growing environment for carrots. The soil in the garden bed is a much better quality soil, hence the better result. I can't wait till harvest time!

So easy to grow and tasty

I planted these in early spring. They grew very well in my somewhat poor soil of my new garden area. I harvested the all summer and still have a few to go in late August. Not one seeded, good taste, texture, and so many colors make my salads come alive! I would recommend these to everyone who like easy to grow carrots.

I had about a 5% germination rate with these. I went out and bought the same pack at my local hardware store and had a 90-100% germination rate. I think these seeds are bad.

Good germination rate. Kids love red and yellow carrots ( taste like regular carrots and look funny ) and strongly dislike the white ones ( taste more like parsnips)

Pack arrived early. Sowed seeds during a warm spell and they sprouted right away. So far so good. I love the variety you offer. Heirloom vegetables are not redily available in my area, so i like to grow them myself. Happy gardening. Thank you

These seeds worked very well for us. We had to weed some out to give room for seeds to grow but it's great that there are so many seeds. We had a very large yield with all colors present.

This is my second year growing these. Nearly all seeds germinated with great results. I brought several bunches to work amazing people who had no idea that all carrots were not yellow. Great flavor in stews or raw. I will be buying again.
