Product Description

Designed to meet the changing requirements of the future combat solider. An integral folding arm allows the cup to fit securely over a fuel crucible where gel fuel or solid hexamine fuel blocks can be lit. A small slot provides shielding against the wind. In transit, the cooker nests neatly and compact beneath BCB's Crusader Cup and will fit inside the water bottle. This set consists of: Plastic Mug (standard), Water bottle (standard), Crusader Cup Lid, Crusader Cup, Crusader Cooker, Zulu Belt pouch, Solid fuel, Fireball Flint and Striker.

Its hard to tell from the photo, but this '58 pattern water-bottle & cup are genuine "Osprey" - the British army issue. My kit came with the BCB Crusader stainless steel cup with black teflon coating, the cooker base, fire steel, 12 "hexi-blocks" and a plastic lid.

I've been using the issued version for 30+ years and I'm pleased that this is the same quality issued items. Few more years to go!!!

Top notch except for the plastic lid...bought a $5.00 metal lid which almost fits...good enough for boiling water. The poor lid really distracts from an otherwise outstanding product....better to not include rather than include a marginal accessory. The canteen has a unique feel to it. Bottom line I will buy another as soon as I can convince the wife I really need it!

Kind of pricey compared to similar US miltary kits, But it comes from the UK. Things are expensive over there. I also have the way cheaper copy. The origional Osprey, that this is, blows it out of the water.
