Problems are easily preventable!

Before I purchased the suit I read the reviews and most people were totally content with what they received (as was I) but there were a few mishaps that people came across. One of which was about the fan falling out of place and breaking. When I got my suit I immediately put it on and tested the fan out to see if it would fall out, and it would definitely fall out.. IF the outside cap thing was loose. There is a ring type thing around where the fan goes in and holds the fan in place, and as long as you make sure that ring is tight the fan will not fall out and break. Other problems people had with the suit was with the size and it being too small. I got the adult size for that reason. I'm a 16 year old girl, 5'5 - 5'6 and the suit fit me perfectly so the teen size probably wouldn't fit as well. The sleeves on the suit ride up my arm s little so a little skin would show but it doesnt bother me. Something that did bother me was the gloves that the suit came with. They were poorly made.. One glove is okay, but the other glove doesn't fit my hand very well at all. The spots where the fingers go in end halfway down my finger so the glove slides off. I turned the glove inside out to see what was going on, and there was a TON of excess material and 4 different seems where it looked like they messed up on making it but went back to try to fix it. It's not too much of a problem but it's just annoying. Overall the suit is so fun to wear and it isn't hot in the suit at all, because the fan blows at your back and keeps it cool inside which is really nice. The only part that is hot is the mask but that is obvious.

I actually loved this costume, I was dancing around jiggling as happy as could be.

The OddLots orange fan stopped working towards the beginning of the night, wires shorted out. I was doing everything I could to bend the wires around for them to connect and gets spurts of air, but alas it gave out and I was wearing a big white bag for the rest of the night.

It was extremely disappointing considering it was my favorite costume of any Halloween if only the fan didn't break.

I would wear this again and update my review if Chub sent me a new one.

Can't recommend the gray one

I cannot recommend the gray chub suit because the contrast in colour between the inflatable suit and the mask/socks/gloves is quite different. I've included photos to show the difference (The photos have not been altered in any way. The suit is really that much darker than the gloves, socks and mask). That may or may not bother you that much, but it's very deceiving from the stock photo.

If you thought that having the Morphsuits logo on the back of a morphsuit was annoying, this one is even worse. One of the gloves and one of the socks have the Chubsuits logo on them.

There were no issues with the fan falling out, but the suit didn't completely inflate (even with fresh batteries). I'm 5' 7" and the suit fit me without any trouble.

Overall, I can't recommend the gray chubsuit. Get a different colour and/or a different brand.

Oh my god. This is the coolest thing ever! I mean I wear this all the freaking time! Move movements are so funny, everything is so funny. Get this get this now. You will not regret it. Fits well, no issues with the fan falling out. It's just awesome"

I am 5'7 and 280lbs. I was a little worried that it wouldn't fit right. I read through the reviews, but nothing to help in my effort to make sure it would fit my body size. First thing I checked when it arrived was the fan and battery pack, as other reviews had some complaints. They both were in tack and worked properly. Then I tried on the gloves and the suit. Perfect fit. My 16 year who is a little taller then me and very slender also put on the suit and it fit her as well. It did seem to inflate more when she had it on. I Think that is only due to my large size already. I have no intentions on using the face hood, but I did try it on and could see through it well enough to function If needed. Overall great purchase and product. lots of fun

Funny Costume!

This costume was a hit at the middle school Halloween dance! The other students were all dancing around the big white bubble, some even poking him like the Pillsbury Dough Boy. My son turned it into Disney's Bay-max character. My only issues with the costume were: 1) that it was hard to keep the battery pack on with the clip provided. It really needs to be put into a pocket. 2) most importantly, the morph style mask is very difficult to see through. We actually had to go out and buy another morph mask from a party store for him to wear instead of the one provided. Other than those two things, it was a funny costume.

I was hesitant to purchase this suit for my 10 year old...but when it came in lightening fast I began to change my opinion. The small adult fit him very well with room to grow. It was the one suit everyone at school and during trick or treating kept commenting on. And from a mothers stand point, I was thrilled we were able to bundle layers. Living in the upper Midwest temps are usually quite cold on Halloween. The only complaint - the face mask cannot be seen through. So my son wore a ball cap that read "swag" in green. :)

A hit with my kids....

I don't understand the fascination with this suit but it was a hit with my teenage children. They spend hours dancing around in them with their cousins. I was concerned about whether the suit would fit them b/c of some of the reviews saying it was small in size. My 18-year old daughter is 5'10" and my 14-year old son is 5'3". The suit fit both of them just fine. However, it did "swallow" my 9-year old niece.

This suit is great. it stays inflated and the fan is fairly quiet. The quality of the material is definitely rugged. i would go sliding down the lawn in it but bumping into things isn't bad. The only thing that would make this better is if the fan was a bright color. I have the blue suit and the fan is bright orange. I would like to see a darker color for the darker suits. This might just be me being a little OCD. Overall the functionality and entertainment value of this suit is fantastic! The masks are extremely hard to see through. Though if you have a larger head and the material gets stretched a little more, obviously they are a little better. You can try to finagle it and stretch it a bit to see better. i would not recommend this for low light settings.

Chub suit is definitely hilarious - makes you laugh as soon as you get it on. We ordered it on Saturday and it was delivered a few days later on Wednesday. The suit came without directions, so I had to look on other amazon reviews to figure out how to work it - insert the fan before wearing it, then attach and tighten the ring around the fan over the fabric. Put the suit on and turn on the battery pack and attach it whatever you are wearing underneath - then zip up suit. This was bought for my 11 year old son who is medium build and about 4 ft 11 inches. We bought the teen size - but it is just a little short - it definitely could be 4-6 inches longer and would fit him perfectly. The mask feels hot after a while, gloves are irregular and not made well at all, but these are minor issues. The main suit seems fairly sturdy and well made. Seems like it will hold up for Halloween at school and trick or treating.

What's better than a giant inflated bubble suit to keep you warm while tailgating at a Chiefs game...... Christmas in a cup. Best suit ever! Warm, cozy and great quality!
