Finally, a quality product that really protects my privacy.

I was at first skeptical, but when I received these glasses and put them on, all my doubts were immediately put to rest. One glance in the mirror and it was clear that I would now be completely anonymous. With my identity obscured, I immediately went out and engaged in all manner of mayhem, much of which was of questionable legality. Thanks to these glasses the authorities have got nothing on me. I shall now refrain from further comment, other than to note that these glasses DO NOT come with a carrying pouch as was pictured at the time of my purchase. However, Amazon did discount my original purchase price because of that, so I am a satisfied customer.

They aren't shoes, though!

Both an interesting conversation-starter, and a statement made by wearing them behind closed doors (i.e., standing up by slyly opting out of humanity's seeming voyeuristic paranoia/need to meddle in others' private lives), the "Black Bar" sunglasses also has another use, and that's the mirrored effect at the peripheral, which is a decided bonus for those of us who don't yet have eyes looking backward.

Poor Design

The ends of the glasses that go behind your ears are very rough like they were just cut off and not sanded. The middle part that sits on your nose is extremely uncomfortable.

These sunglasses are AWESOME! They look even better in person! I used my vinyl cutter to cut my logo onto a sticker that I put on the front of the sunglasses. All my friends wanted to know where I got them from

These are amazing, cheapish quality but perfect for photos and anything else you can think of.

Looks cool, hard to see through, poor quality plastic makes for bad optics
by Colton Lindblad (3 out of 5 stars)

These meet the needs I bought them for mostly. They look cool, feel comfortable, and start conversations. That being said they have some flaws with optical quality. The one giant single lens is VERY dark. In direct bright sunlight they're okay but inside you pretty much cannot see through them. Also direct is key, if you are out in bright light and you are not facing directly toward the light source because they're so dark and flat you see more reflection of your own face than through them. I feel like if they were just a little bit less dark this effect would be largely mitigated but I understand the idea is to completely obscure the wearer's eyes... Unfortunately the worst of it though is that the lens is not uniform. The shape is fine but there is warping in the plastic that causes optical distortions so things viewed through them seem to bulge and pinch as if viewed through fun house mirrors. This restricts me from being able to wear them for extended periods of time. Overall I'm not completely unhappy with my purchase but I'm also not as pleased with the product as I hoped I'd be. These are marketed as novelty, they're not trying to overtake Ray Ban in the sunglasses market or anything but I would have hoped for something that didn't make me sick to my stomach after some time or be nearly impossible to see through.

Love them! Real convo starter. Only prob is they are way to dark to wear driving or as day to day sunglasses.

Yes, they're hard to see out of
by Tommy (5 out of 5 stars)

I am giving these a 5-Star review because I knew going in what I was going to get in which, yea, they're hard to see out of. You can navigate daylight and most well lit places like a subway stop or a halogen lit store easily but if you go somewhere a little more dim, you're not going to do well. Also, it is difficult to see my phone through these, but fortunately since they're just a bar and not fitted for the eye indentation on my face, I can simply look down with just my eyes to see through the space between the glasses and my cheeks.

Anyway, they stay on my face and match my "Britney B$&@#" shirt far too fierce to complain about sight.

Looks Just Like a Government Identity Blackout
by Red Bear (4 out of 5 stars)
January 14, 2017

Great if all you want is the black bar effect, which is what I was after, but I did think I'd be able to wear them while driving and moving about, but there is a bit of distortion in the lens that makes this difficult, so off they come for hazardous activities. If you have a ski jump nose, these are not going to ride on your snoot comfortably without some adaptation, as the nose rest is integral to the flat lens.

They WILL Cause Someone To Have To Take A Second Look At You
by Edward Nash (5 out of 5 stars)

The moment I saw these glasses, I thought they were hilarious and really cool looking. I knew I had to have them. I ordered them and they came in about 3 days. I opened the box and immediately found scratches on the supposedly new glasses I ordered. I also did not receive the pouch that was supposed to come with them. I contacted the seller, and Vick, the person that responded to my email, was awesome. He responded within 24 hours of me sending the email. He not only told me that he was going to send me another pair at absolutely no charge to me, but he also allowed me to keep the initial pair. Overall, it was a great transaction. The glasses arrived much sooner than I expected. Although they were slightly defective, the prompt and wonderful customer service I received definitely helped me look past the defectiveness.
